How do I refer someone?

Referring your network is easy! From your dashboard, share your unique referral link or generate a custom link to any page on Pond5. When a new customer clicks on your link and makes a purchase on Pond5, you get paid.

Does the person I refer have to be a new customer?

Yes! Your referral has to be a new customer. It’s okay if they have a Pond5 account already, and even if they have licensed free content, as long as they’ve never made a purchase.

How will I get paid?

We’ll give you cash payouts for every purchase your referrals make! Just log in to add your payout method on your Dashboard. As soon as your balance reaches $25, payment will be made on the 15th of the month.

How much will I get paid?

You can earn up to $500 for each new customer you refer. You’ll take home 20% of the first purchase they make, and 5% of each subsequent purchase for a whole year. For more information on referral payments, visit our Help Center.

How will I know if my referral made a purchase?

You can easily track your referral commissions on the Financials tab of your Pond5 dashboard. We’ll also send you an email to let you know when you have earned referral income. Keep in mind, referral commissions will appear in your dashboard 48-hours after a purchase is made.

The person I refer gets a discount too, right?

Yes! They’ll get 20% off their first purchase, up to $500.

Are subscription purchases eligible for the referral program?

Yes. If your referral's first purchase is a subscription, you'll take home 20% of that initial purchase, and your referral will get a 20% discount off the price of the subscription too! Recurring monthly subscription fees are not eligible for discounts or referral commissions.

Are credit pack purchases eligible for the referral program?

Credit pack purchases are not eligible for the referral program.
