The lodge has everything we could have needed. So clean and spacious. We spent most of the week at the lodge, enjoying the peace and quiet. The recliner and electric beds were a touch of luxury. We are looking forward to returning.

A fabulous fortnight in accommodation which suits us (disabled wife & carer husband) more than any we've stayed in previously - comfortable, clean, spacious & well-equipped. The owner's done everything possible (and more!) to make you feel welcome. Great part of the world - beautiful, remote, peaceful, fascinating... Don't want to go home!

The cottage was delightful. It has good parking and access. It is near the main road but the cottage was quiet and peaceful as the road is not a busy one. It is very well equipped. It has a very comfortable, adjustable bed. Well equipped shower room with good shower and a shower chair that folds up against the wall. The sitting room is spacious and well equipped with a comfortable adjustable chair. It also has a sofa, dining table and chairs. The annex was lovely to sit in and look out on the fields. The cottage was very easy to heat and I used the air source heating infrequently. The bedroom got the morning sun and by midday the sun reached the annex which became lovely and warm. Patrick was a pleasant accommodating host. He communicated well and answered emails promptly. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and was sorry when it was over.

Murray Arms in St Margaret's Hope provides a good evening meal. Nearby is Tomb of the Eagles and Skerries Bistro. In Burray there is the Sands Hotel and Fossil Museum. Because of Covid-19 restrictions opening hours need to be checked.
