Last week we launched ProjectME for 2024, our personal and career development program for women of Australia Post, now in its 10th year. The seven week program is open to all female team members, designed to help inspire, energise and connect likeminded women in areas including: 💪 Self-awareness of strengths, values and personal barriers to success ✨ Resilience to manage change, pressure and stress in work and life 📝 Clear personal and professional goals to work towards Julia, a Process Leader from our Sydney West Letters Facility was inspired to join the program after hearing a ProjectME graduate’s experience during an International Women’s Day event and shared: “I wanted to be a confident and successful leader like Louise. Australia Post has invested so much on many programs for its employees, we might as well take the best out of it. Thanks to ProjectME, I've learnt to be patient and take a step backward to everything I do, just to listen to other's concerns, bring them along on the journey. ProjectME also inspired me to support other women to build their strength and confidence both in work and life” We received over 500 applications for the 2024 program and our 316 participants and 95 Circle Leads representing every business unit have just kicked off for the year.   #AusPostLife

Today, our CEO Paul Graham joined Michelle Rowland MP and Anika Wells MP to announce the construction of our cutting-edge StarTrack Premium parcel facility at Brisbane Airport Industrial Park, which is set to open in early 2026. The facility will be able to process over 176,000 parcels daily, with the ability to flex up during peak periods. The investment will significantly increase our capacity to support eCommerce growth in Queensland.

All week at Australia Post, we’ve been embracing this year’s International Women’s Day theme, 'Count her in: Accelerating gender equity through economic empowerment'. We’ve hosted inspiring live sessions, giving our team members the opportunity to access advice and tools to help support their economic empowerment. Sessions have included: 💜 ‘Don’t Sweat It’ with Dr Ginni Mansberg and Shelly Horton: an engaging, uplifting and informative session on peri/menopause in the workplace 💜 ‘Financial Skills For Your Career’ and ‘Let’s Talk About Budgeting’, hosted by our Network Operations Women (#NOW) leads 💜 ‘Supporting Women to Grow their Super’, hosted by Australian Super 💜 An inspiring intersectional team member panel discussion where women of Post shared their lived experiences and words of wisdom We've also been celebrating women of Post in unique ways, right across the country.
