Dirty Slide is a short contemporary romance by Lauren Blakely. This is a M/M romance though so it may not be for everyone. Ms. Blakely has provided readers with a well-written book, but it is written in first person, alternating point of view. Not my favorite format. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Chris and Josh do some flirting whenever they are close. Josh gets a bit steamed when Chris spikes him on a slide into second base of the World Series. Chris and Josh's story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Dirty Slide and look forward to my next Lauren Blakely book. Dirty Slide is book 1 of the Dirty Players Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
