FISCHER, Texas (KTXS) – The world of country music is mourning the death of singer-songwriter Hal Ketchum.
Ketchum died Tuesday at his home in Fischer, Texas, according to a Facebook post from his wife, Andrea.
"With great sadness and grief we announce that Hal passed away peacefully last night at home due to complications of Dementia," said Andrea Ketchum. "May his music live on forever in your hearts and bring you peace."
He was just 67 years old.
Ketchum was a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
He's known for hits such as “Small Town Saturday Night” and “I Know Where Love Lives.” Ketchum stopped touring in 2019 after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
