I'm passionate about aligning Project Portfolios to strategy so was unsurprised to see the stats in this post: "Research by the PM Institute reveals that organizations which prioritize and align their strategies with their project execution see a 72% success rate in their initiatives. In contrast, those who miss this alignment, experience a success rate that plummets to 58%." Achieve more by aligning the What and the Why with the How - an idea is nothing more than words without an actionable plan behind it.

Great blog post here on the challenges of sustainable IT and I found this last point really thought provoking: "But the main thing we can do is to be more efficient. Some estimate that up to 90% of our data is “Dark Data” – data that is never used and provides no value. There is huge scope to be more efficient with our data use and storage.
