I work in the field of urban and transportation planning. Previously, I was employed at Hiroshima University as a postdoctoral researcher and was working for a project funded by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan on the application of advanced machine learning techniques for transport planning and management. My PhD thesis explored the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on activity participation and travel behavior in Mumbai, India. For my Master's thesis, I worked on identifying the levels of crowding on the buses of Ahmedabad, India and estimated its impact on generalized cost.
