October 22,5:30pm-7:00pm

National Diabetes Prevention Program Prevent Type 2 is a CDC recognized year long lifestyle change program that focuses on long term change and lasting results. During the first half of this structured program we meet about once a week and participants will learn to:
  • Eat healthy without giving up all the foods they love
  • Add physical activity to their life, even if they don’t think you have time
  • Deal with stress
  • Cope with challenges that can derail their hard work—like how to choose healthy food when eating out
  • Get back on track if they stray from their plan—because everyone slips now and then
During the second half of the program we meet once or twice a month to enhance and practice the skills learned. Contact Lonna Kelly at 845-228-7457 ext. 1110 or email [email protected] for information on the NDPP.
