- Hinman is a proven sire who offers breed leading IMF, carcase weight and feed efficiency, along with calving ease and fast growth.
- He is slick skinned, very structurally correct and quiet, and he consistently passes these traits onto his progeny. He has over 200 progeny recorded, and was part of the Angus Sire Benchmarking Program – Cohort 7.
- Hinman has proven himself for longevity, having worked until he was nine years of age in a commercial operation near Condamine in Queensland for John and Guy Campbell.
- He was also used as a yearling by Sandon Glenoch Angus, and has continued to be used consistently by JK Cattle Company, with sons selling well over many years (up to $26,000).
- In 2018, his mother D80 was sold to Bulliac Angus in the Gems of Glenoch Female Sale. At that time she had produced nine calves with an average calving interval of 367 days. She produced a top calf every time.
