Frozen Hot Chocolate Pie

Ingredients
Pie Crust
- 2 cups finely ground chocolate cookie crumbs
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Frozen Hot Chocolate Mousse
- 1 1/4 cups chopped dark chocolate (about 70% cacao)
- pinch sea salt
- 2 cups heavy cream, chilled, divided
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 8/11 ounces hot chocolate mix
Marshmallow Topping
- 2 cups granulated sugar, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 large egg whites
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F, and line a 7-inches springform pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine cookie crumbs and butter until moistened and mixed through. Press the crust into bottom and three-quarters of the way up the sides of the pan.
