IN THIS WEEK'S FRIDAY5

This year, MillerClapperton held our 10th Annual Blood Drive in memory of founding partner, Ted S. Miller. Ted passed away on October 9th, 2012 at the age of 62 after a long and inspirational battle with cancer. After being diagnosed with Stage IV cancer at the age of 52, "those who knew him know that cancer did not define who he was," according to Senior Estimator, Scott Stafford. Despite receiving countless blood donations throughout his battle, he continued to live a fulfilling and productive life. He always had a desire to see more, learn more, and do more. In his honor, the Annual Blood Drive was started to give back to those who require life saving blood donations.

MillerClapperton is very proud to have a reached a major milestone during this year's 10th Annual Blood Drive. We were able to collect 43 pints of blood, which brought our ten year total to 400 units of donated blood. One pint of blood can save up to three lives and we are so appreciative to all who have volunteered their time and donated so that we can make a positive impact for those in our community who rely on blood donations as a life saving treatment. We urge everyone to sign-up with their local Red Cross chapter to donate and make a difference. You can find a blood drive or donation center near you below.
