Not a lot of projection at all. Very powdery in a synthetic way. Not much citrus at all. Not bad, but not memorable IMO.

just reading on reviews below mine - i really dont get a mint or ginger blast at all.
citrus really pulls on me - i will add that this one doesnt go dry or pithy as some citrus scents do.

"zesty" is a perfect word for the opening and first hour at least, with a touch of aromatic type green.

i very much like the dry down - about mid way into this i thought i was getting a gentle tobacco with woods and spice - the clean but not dry sort (and no foodie spice either). (i don't like tobacco if its ashy or heavy and dry, this scent is not)
the dry down is easily 8 out of 10. i would need to layer this one to feel good in it, i use womans, unisex and some mens scents, in mens i lean to cleaner laundry or aquatic freshies, even soapy or green florals before this type of citrus.

i get NO sweetness from this nor specifically mandarin of any sort. for me the accords listed above are on point.

summery weather, evening test, only the brave high.

its a citrussy, aromatic and slightly tart beginning, no specific ginger (like real ginger) and no mint (like what you might find fresh)
it stays that way for about 2 hours, then the base notes come out (which i prefer) warm spicey, woody, amber. the accords listed are on point, the notes listed kinda meh. i dont get them all coming out on me.

i noticed under the heading "people who like this also like" Eros, OTBH changes like eros does, a freshie citrus aromatic opener, with a warm spicey, woody etc dry down. not the same scent but they behave the same.

ive tried a bunch of scents lately and alot of them have the tart aromatic opener and more spicey dry down. theres quite a few.
this might be a bit too tart for me personally, although i like the drydown, i can think of at least a handful of scents that do what this does so i dont need this, but its not a bad price point so if youre in the market for one have a go.
bright, citrussy, then gentle woods and warm spice. not over powering i dont find.

I have the original and this both. And I'm using this one more. Almost identical only this one is freshier and softer. Synthetic bomb for sure but in this fragrance world we got that sometimes some synthetic mess like this work...People love it and more importantly I love this chemical mess with it's energy, coolness, youth and 'I don't give a f*ckness' vibe

I cannot believe that vanilla is not listed !

Really disappointed to see Carlos Benaim who's done classics for Ralph Lauren, Givenchy, Frederic Malle etc. as one of the noses behind this. But then again, it does have the bubble gum vibe found in i.e. Dunhill Icon, only sweetened with frosting on top. This is a cloying mess of mint, ginger and vanilla. So sweet that I feel I'm getting diabetes from it. By the way, sometimes this reminds me of another perfume I just can't put my finger on - I think it might be The Scent by Hugo Boss. Longevity on me is approx. 4 hours of average projection then fading to a hardly discernible skin scent.

Sickeningly sweet, synthetic and generic - no thanks.

This is very minty, fresh, with a hint of ginger, but it's waay too generic. A likable freshy and nothing more. Good for teenagers in high school, or for a gym scent. I can not talk about projection or longevity, because I washed this off... not because it's bad, just I am not interested. In this category Bois de Cèdre et Citron Vert from Yves Rocher is a better option ( with a terrible sillage and longevity though), more green, less synthetic, however that one isn't a big deal either. :D

Update: I washed my hands several times but I can still recognize a hint of this... so longevity seems to be good ;)

I must admit that I quite enjoy the O.G and this one. This is so non offensive and is really easy to wear. As mentioned below, this could’ve been called Only the Brave Sport.
It’s like an everyday summer frag. Just nice. Not unique, not fabulous, not a compliment magnet... just fresh. But yes, it is synthetic... so what?
As I wrote in my review on the O.G, you really don’t have to be brave to wear this one.
I get around 4-5h with this before it becomes a skin scent..

In another place and time this would have been called Only The Brave Sport. The top notes are a zesty mix of citrus and coriander but the dry down is closer to the original version. Its nice enough and competently done but equally it's also something we didn't really need.

Ok another attempt from diesel. Take That synthetic and sickly sweet mandarin note from the original and replace it with a synthetic yuzu. Typical only the brave flanker, synthetic and juvenile. Drydown is rather pleasant, something I would love to wear if I was a 15 years old☺.

AZ

I didn't like it. The synthetic mint and grape fruit is really bas prefered the extreme version.

groover

It might not come as a shock to
anyone that this is a fresh scent,
starts very fruity, but you can feel
the ginger in there, a nice scent for
spring/summer but its very generic and
has a bubblegum vibe to it as most scent
tend to nowadays, i did like the extreme
one better than this if i had to choose.

MeThePerson

Wow, so I guess aquatic cologne is the new thing at the moment... Every company is releasing a flanker that bears the name of the original but has little at all to keep it within the brand identity other than the bottle and title... It's going to be a ZESTY 2017!
