Your Support of this event will help Ever Forward to fund the Million Mask Movement  Peer Mentoring Program which will recruit and train youth in the Bay Area and around the world to support their peers to take the challenge of the #MillionMaskMovement to their peers and their community.  With your support, we will take the Peer Mentoring program to even more schools around the Bay Area, California, the country and around the world.

Brief  History of the #MillionMaskMovement :


In 2015, The Taking Off The Mask activity was first demonstrated when Ever Forward was featured in the documentary, The Mask You Live In, and as the number of masks in our office begins to grow, so did our vision for the Taking Off The Mask Experience. 

In 2016, Ever Forward completed a fellowship at the Stanford d.school and launched Taking Off The workshops around the world

In 2017 we launched the #100kMasks Challenge to collect 100,000 Masks from around the world. 

In 2019, we received an investment from LinkedIn which allowed us to invest in a digital platform  (www.100kMasks.com) to grow the campaign work. 

In 2020, we reached 50,000 masks and elevated the campaign to #MillionMaskMovement 

In late 2020, Ashanti was introduced to a young male Filmmaker, Justin,  who helped to launch the workshop with the teachers and leadership students at Encinal HS. After 16 students volunteered to become presenters to invite others to take the challenge of the #MillionMaskMovement

2021 we are launching the #MillionMaskMovement Peer Mentors program.
