FHN physician named AAFP Fellow

FREEPORT — FHN Memorial Hospital physician April Moore was recently named as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Moore works at the FHN Family Healthcare Center – Forreston. She specializes in women’s healthcare and colposcopy.

Moore earned her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield and served her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. She holds a bachelor’s degree in pre-med and biology from Augustana College in Rock Island.
