Michael Schönberger
Since 1993
Michael Schönberger started at the park when he was 13 old. First he helped out around the wolves. From the begining he helped raising up the cups.

There have been some special situations over the years:
1995 he helped Werner Freund. They brought wolf cups from Stralsund Germany to Merzig.
1996 he took part in a competition about yought science He got a special price for his work about the wolves.
1999 Werner Freund and his team took cups out of a zoo enclosre. The adultt wolves were not in the area but the cups were in their hole. So Michael had to crawl into the hole to get them out.
2000 an arctic wolves was attacked by his pack. The wolf had to be separated and he got aid.
Since 2005 he accompanies Werner Freund and his wolves with his camera.
2005 he assisted in an operation on a artic wolf. The wolf had an malignancy.
2007 Werner Freund, Tatjana Schneider and Michael Schönberger brought kanadian wolves from Hannover to the Wolfpark Werner Freund.
2007 Michael Schönberger went to Sweden and brought a pack european puppies to the wolfpark. Werner Freund was bussy raising up the canadian wolves at that time.
2009 he created new signs for the park.
2010 The storm "Xynthia" created a lot of damage in the park. Many packs were outsite during the storm. He brought some packs back to a safe enclosure and helped that others packs could not escape.
2010 some pups were taken out of a hole. The supported Tatjana Schneider in this action
2011 he passes his Butcher-examen.
2011he took part inone of the biggest photo competitionworldwide and won the Grand Prix with his photo "Men bites wolf". He was the first and is the only person who has ever one this competition (2013)
