“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” averaged 2.527 million Total Viewers and 534,000 Adults 25-54 on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “This Week” beat NBC’s “Meet the Press” (2.381 million and 507,000, respectively) by 146,000 Total Viewers and by 27,000 Adults 25-54, leading the NBC program for the 4th time in the 5 weeks of the season in both measures.
Season to date, “This Week” is ranking No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (541,000), leading CBS’ Face the Nation (492,000) by 49,000 and NBC’s “Meet the Press” (501,000) by 40,000. In fact, “This Week” is taking the top spot in the key Adult news demo for the first time in 6 years — since the 2015-2016 season.
“This Week” is leading NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+119,000 – 2.614 million vs. 2.495 million) season to date for the first time in 7 years — since the 2014-2015 season. In addition, “This Week” is cutting its season margin with CBS’ “Face the Nation” in Total Viewers by 55% (183,000 vs. 403,000) to its closest in 5 years — since the 2016-2017 season.
