Elimination Chamber 2021 results: The Miz cashes in his Money in the Bank, pins Drew McIntyre to win WWE title

The Miz successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre. The latter was celebrating his victory over 5 other superstars in the Elimination Chamber match when Bobby Lashley attacked him. The Miz, who had withdrawn from the match on Raw, then came out running with his briefcase. McIntyre did kick out once but couldn't move after being hit with a Skull Crushing Finale.

The shocking ending to the title match has seen McIntyre losing the WWE Championship for the 2nd time since Wrestlemania 36. Check out other results of Elimination Chamber 2021 -

Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton vs Kofi Kingston vs Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy vs AJ Styles: McIntyre successfully retained his championship with a win over 5 superstars in the Elimination Chamber match. Randy Orton was the first superstar to get eliminated from the match. The former champion was pinned by Kofi Kingston. The latter was out of the match after being hit with a Brogue kick by Sheamus. Jeff Hardy had his moment in the match when he showed a few high-flying moves. 

However, his heroics soon came to an end after being hit with a Claymore Kick. The champion then successfully pinned the WWE veteran. Sheamus, who was the frontrunner to pull off a surprise, was close to eliminating the champion after he hit him with Brouge Kick.

The Irish superstar was hit with a Phenomenal Forearm by AJ Styles, who then completed the pin. With the equation down to 2 superstars, Styles went for another Phenomenal Forearm but McIntyre converted it into a Claymore Kick. He went for the pin to retain the WWE Championship.

Bobby Lashley vs Riddle vs John Morrison: Riddle picked up his first title on the main roster - United States Championship - with a win over now-former champion Bobby Lashley and John Morrison. However, he pinned Morrison for the win, which means that Lashley might get his rematch.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs Sasha and Bianca Belair: The team of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler continued its tag team title run with a victory over the team of Sasha Baks and Bianca Belair. The win was only possible after outside interference.
