Learn Something, Do Something!

Learning about our past is the key to creating a better future. Each of these daily activities teaches students about a historical figure or event in black history, then has them respond to what they've learned.

Use these two powerful calendars to engage students in thinking critically as they celebrate Black History Month. The Learn Something calendar offers daily doses of engaging information and awareness of events in Black History. The Do Something calendar challenges students with daily prompts to meaningfully apply what they learned.

Teacher Tip: It may be helpful to zoom in on the text once you have the calendars open.
