Leak on first trip
Disappointed. - Hole - Bought this year and took on the JMT this summer. The pad only made it about 15 days before a hole developed. I was cautious and even had a closed foam pad underneath (both in attempts to prevent a hole and for heat because temps were as low as 20F during the trip). For an $160 pad I expected better quality and durability. I have an old Nemo pad which was significantly cheaper and I held up for over 8 years, will likely go back to that company. - Noise is present but not horrible 3/5 - Does inflate quick and easily with the pump sac. - Kept me warm up to about 45 degrees. (Was NOT warm enough once temps dropped below 40s) - Sizing: 5'4" and the 66 in was a perfect length

Buy it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great purchase! held air for the entire three nights, sleeping bag didn’t slide around on it. Perfect size and weight for backpacking. Easy to inflate.

Loved it
Small, comfy, easy to inflate and pack down. Inflating it with the provided sack took me a little bit to figure out, but that could’ve been user error. I got the regular size and it was a little on the short side, but I thought it worked great!

Best sleeping pad ever!
I was skeptical thinking it would be noisy but this pad is quiet and comfortable and weighs nothing!

Yay!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I used this pad for over two years working as a backpacking guide and going on personal trips as well. I used the pad during spring, summer, and fall. I was on a camping trip when the pad got a hole close to the port. Not wanting to spend more money, I decided to give the warranty a try. Shipped the pad off to Boulder, and while they could not repair the pad, they did send me a new one. I had to provide some extra information, but I was so relieved to be able to use the warranty. I am hiking a section of the AT starting this week, and the Sea to Summit people rushed my order to make sure that I got the pad in time. From here on out, I will be a loyal Sea to Summit customer and I can't recommend it enough. Can't wait to see what adventures this new pad and I will experience together.

Quiet and warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took this sleeping pad on a winter trip and layered it with a closed cell foam pad. The combo worked well and this pad was very comfortable. It was also quieter than other insulated pads of similar r value. Pump sack system works well, would definitely recommend.

Good lightweight pad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pad is a good lightweight option. I usually have hip pain when sleeping on pads, but long as I fill this pad full no hip pain. It isn't very thick, but it is what I expected. It does make some noise when you move throughout the night, but not nearly as bad as other pads.

Great pad
I have had this pad and have used it for over 600 miles backpacking so far and it has been very reliable. I have had zero issues. It is easy to inflate using the bag that comes with it and deflates as soon as you pull the plug. I have also slept down to teens on it with my quilt and have been warm. The only downside would be it makes some noise when moving about, but that does not bother me at all. I have not used the patch kit that came with it because it has never had a leak or hole, so it is very durable. I purchased the large for more room on the pad, and it still fits in my one person tent. Love this pad and see many people constantly upgrading their gear to be lighter, but I am sticking with this pad as long as it holds true.

Favorite sleeping mat
Previously borrowed ultralight mat from two other brands and STS wins in 1) debunking the myth about thickness and confirm comfort comes from air spring. In addition, if the air pad 'grid' is vertical, the side size would be compromised. The mat spec is when moderately inflated. So if you inflate all the way, the size would be smaller than the spec online. I'm 5'7" and definitely need large size after trying both, for both the length and width. If you use quilt, the noise would be more than a quality sleeping bag, but still much better than the other brand's potato chips effect, because STS insulation is fundamentally different. Love the color. And plan to pair it with a closed foam one for the winter. Plus I have been sleeping on it everywhere in the house. Not as comfy as in my bed but pretty decent .

Surprisingly Comfortable
I was skeptical when I saw how thin this mat is, but its really comfortable. Can't say I am enthusiastic about the inflation system, but it works, just kind of a pain in the neck. All in all a great purchase, light and comfortable.
