Letter to the Item editor: Exchange Club offers thanks for successful Pats ticket raffle

The Clinton Exchange Club would like to thank all those who purchased a chance to win two New England Patriots tickets for the Oct. 24 game with the New York Jets. The money raised by this event will help the Exchange Club continue to support scholarships for local high school students, along with support for the Care food pantry, Community Café and many additional local charities.

We want to thank Apple Country Market, Brothers Liquor, Shaw's Market, Olde Home Days and the Horseshed Fair for allowing the Exchange Club to sell chances at their locations.

We are most grateful to the Donald Dobeck family for the gift of the tickets to the club – and congratulate Joey Paradis as the winner.
