I have had my S1 for a few weeks and been riding it daily. So far everything is working perfectly. The bike seems to be extremely well engineered.
At first the weight (68lbs) was intimidating and I was worried about riding. After you actually take off the bike handles great and the weight is not even an issue. The hardest part is stopping and knowing when to hit the brakes and put your feet down.
I am 6’3” and 220lbs and the bike has no struggles going up hills. Pedaling on this bike is not like on a regular bike. You are basically just ghost-pedaling to keep the pedals spinning with almost no resistance in order to keep the pedal assist activated. No need to fully extend your legs like on a regular bike. Just put the seat at a comfortable and safe height. I find I’m usually using throttle only most of the time anyways.
This S1 is my first e-bike so I can’t compare it to others but at this point I am very satisfied. It’s fun to ride and brings out the kid in you.
Can’t believe how sturdy it’s built. I love my purchase and for having my name around 8 AM because of the rain and the weather can’t wait.
The Snapcycle S1 is very easy to assemble! The hardest part was getting it out of the carton…video instructions are very simple yet complete….set up is a SNAP!
The bike arrived as promised and was easy to put together. Just waiting for the weather to get a little warmer to take it for the first ride.
