The holiday season is here—cooler weather, the start of celebrations, bright lights, and get-togethers with those we love. At this time of the year, we also think about the many things we are thankful for— family, friends, health, our communities, and YOU.
Not everyone is as lucky. Millions of Americans (young and old) are affected by cancer, hunger, and financial insecurity. At ELM, we try to give back to the communities in which we live and work. Each year, ELM donates to charitable organizations with the help of our marvelous and caring team members.
Taking another step In October, we partnered up with St. Jude's Hospital and created a 'Get Moving For Cancer' challenge. We want to do our part to defeat childhood cancer by supporting this incredible foundation.
Our participating team members got up and moved throughout the month by taking extra daily steps, trying new ways of exercising, participating in fun activities to increase group points, and motivating each other every day.
We are not stopping there. The Get Moving Challenge was so popular; we want to bring it back multiple times during the year and support the fight against childhood cancer and many other great causes. Want to give back too? Go to St. Jude.org and donate today!
More to come We are sure you will agree that the holiday season is not only about gifts and extravagant light displays. It is also essential to be kind and give back. Every year, ELM gives back to toy drives like Voices for Children and Toys for Tots, and last year was no different!
