Mandalay Bay and its neighbor Delano show signs of restaurant re-awakenings with a number returning to the dining scene.

BBQ Mexicana, the counter-service restaurant from Two Hot Tamales Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, reopened full time with service every Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant offers a menu of barbacoa and smoked meats served in bowls, salads, and burritos filled with Mesquite smoked chicken, pulled pork, slow-smoked Texas-style brisket, and smoked tofu make the menu, as do aguas frescas, beers, and margaritas to go.

Aureole, the American restaurant from Charlie Palmer, reopens from July 10-14, July 22-26, and August 2-5 with its four-story climate-controlled wine tower. Try an Alaskan wild-caught halibut with baby leeks, clams, mussels, and saffron jus; diver sea scallops with English peas, pearl onion, and bacon; or bone-in rib-eye with peppercorn sauce, or just order a seafood platter for two.

Fleur reopens on July 26 with a classic bistro menu that includes duck confit, coq au vin, and filet Rossini. Chef Hubert Keller stepped away from the restaurant early this year.

Skyfall Lounge, the cocktail bar on the 63rd floor at the Delano, reopened with its view of the Las Vegas Strip on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Rivea, the French restaurant from Alain Duccase next door to Skyfall, reopens July 1. The restaurant with French and Italian influences specializes in shareable dishes such as marinated sea bass, focaccia di recco with stracchino cheese and olive oil, and crispy socca with chickpea crêpes. Try butternut squash and ricotta ravioli, potato gnocchi with sage and Parmesan cheese, or lobster risotto.

Della’s Kitchen reopens at the Delano on July 29 with breakfast and lunch.

Other popular restaurants such as Border Grill with its Mexican fare and stellar brunch, StripSteak from Michael Mina with its A5 Japanese wagyu and 100 single malts scotches, Kumi with its modern Japanese menu with a Korean American twist, the Italian Lupo by Wolfgang Puck, and Libertine Social from chef Shawn McClain already reopened with limited hours.
