Using bulk actions in your Shopify admin
You can perform actions in bulk in the Shopify admin, such as fulfilling many orders, deleting many files, or publishing many products in one action. Bulk actions can save time by letting you complete repetitive tasks across multiple items at once.
You can use bulk actions on many pages of your Shopify admin, including Orders, Products, Customers, and Discounts.
The more information you try to bulk change at one time, the longer your bulk changes will take to complete. You can also use a CSV file to bulk edit a larger number of list items for your products, your inventory, or your customers. After your CSV file is uploaded in your Shopify admin, you receive a confirmation email from Shopify at the email account that you used to set up your Shopify store.

Select items to edit in bulk
You can select items to perform bulk actions on many pages in your Shopify admin, including Orders, Customers, and Products.
Some pages, such as Discounts, support bulk actions when using a desktop device, but not when using a mobile device.
Steps:
Desktop
- From your Shopify admin, go to any page with a table of resources, such as Orders or Customers.
- Do one of the following, depending on which options are available for the resource type:
- To select items one by one, click the checkbox for each item that you want to select.
- To select a range of items, click to select an item, and then hold the
Shiftkey and click another item. This selects the first and last items that you clicked, and all items in between. - To select all items on a page, click the checkbox at the top of the item list.
- To select all items from your store, click the checkbox at the top of the item list, and then click Select all 50+ items.
- To select all items from a filtered view that contains more than 50 items, do any of the following steps:
- Click the checkbox at the top of the item list, and then in the 50 selected dropdown, click Select all results. This selects all items that match your current filter criteria.
- Click the checkbox at the top of the item list, and then navigate to the next page in the view and click the checkbox at the top of the item list again. Repeat this step until you've selected as many items as required.
Mobile
- In the Shopify app, do one of the following:
- From the Shopify app, tap the
icon
. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select orders. - From the Shopify app, tap the
icon
. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select products. - Tap the
icon, and then tap Customers. Tap the ⋮ menu, and then tap Select customers.
- From the Shopify app, tap the
- Tap the checkbox next to each item that you want to select.
You can select up to 25 items at a time on a mobile device.
Choose a bulk action
Bulk actions are the actions that you can perform for multiple resources at one time. The available bulk actions vary depending on the type of resource that you're performing the bulk action on. For example, the bulk action options for your Customers list include bulk editing, merging customers, adding or removing tags, adding to a company, deleting customers, or running a Shopify Flow automation manually. However, the bulk action options for your customer Segments list is limited to deleting segments in bulk.
Common bulk actions display at the top of the selected items list as separate buttons. Any other bulk actions are contained in the 
menu, including bulk actions offered by apps.
Some bulk actions are available on both desktop and mobile devices, and some bulk actions are available on desktop devices only.
Steps:
Desktop
- Select the list items that you want to perform a bulk action on.
- Select the bulk action in one of the following ways:
- Click the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
- Click , then click the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
- Optional: If you're deleting list items, then confirm your choice by clicking Delete.
Mobile
- Select the list items that you want to perform a bulk action on.
- Select the bulk action in one of the following ways:
- Tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
- Tap ⋮, then tap the name of the bulk action, and then take the necessary steps for completing the action.
- Optional: If you're deleting list items, then confirm your choice by tapping Delete.
Examples of bulk actions in your Shopify admin
Bulk actions can be used on any of the following example pages of your Shopify admin, and each page has its own set of available actions. Bulk actions aren't limited to the pages or actions described in this list, as most resource tables in your Shopify admin can support bulk actions.
Some bulk actions are available on both desktop and mobile devices, and some bulk actions are available on desktop devices only.

Resources without 'Bulk edit' bulk action
The bulk editing feature isn't comptaible with blog posts, pages, and URL redirects. If you need to update your blog posts, pages, or URL redirects in bulk, then consider using the following third-party apps:
