Camp Canopy

Camp Canopy, Carollton- has grown into one of the most popular summer camps among high schoolers in Ohio, hosting 10,000+ campers since its inception. Many students have taken what they learned during their summer(s) spent at Camp Canopy and have gone on to study natural resource disciplines at their post-secondary institutions. Others have simply learned a ton of cool stuff related to forestry and wildlife in Ohio.

The camp is open to incoming freshman through graduating seniors (up to 19 years of age). The weeklong (Sunday-Friday) camp is held the second week of June – it’s the perfect mix of forestry, wildlife, and adventure!

Tuscarawas Philharmonic Summer Music Camp, Dover High School –

The TUSCARAWAS PHILHARMONIC MUSIC CAMP is a thoughtfully designed music enrichment program for young musicians. Each day will include fun learning experiences to help make music camp an unforgettable adventure with lasting impact.

This year our music camp will be hosted at both Dover High School and Walsh University on separate weeks of June. String and percussion camps are available at either location. Chorus camp will only be available at Dover High School.

Tuscarawas Arts Partnership Adelante Arts Camp

Adelante Arts Camp is a summer arts camp program that tells the stories of 6th – 12th grade Latino students through a variety of artistic and cultural forms to celebrate the Latino and Hispanic culture in Tuscarawas County.

Orientation for Students: Friday, June 2, 2022

Arts Camp Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays June 14 – July 28, 2022

2022’s Adelante Arts Camp will explore the use of photography and creative writing to share stories with students. Students will combine their works into a book and a final exhibition of the student’s work will be on display (date to be determined).

Tuscarawas County Center-Arts Summer Camp

Summer Art Camp. July 2022 Dates are July 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 & 21

New classes will be posted April by 15, 2022 Students may sign up for a morning session OR an afternoon session OR for both morning and afternoon.

If they sign up for both they should bring a brown bag lunch. Total cost is $30 for either a morning or afternoon session OR $50 if they sign up for both morning and afternoon!

Camp Buckeye

Camp Buckeye retreat center is an inter-denominational non-profit camp near Beach City, Ohio. Camp Buckeye offers 92 beautiful wooded acres complete with hiking trails, pond, swimming pool, chapel, playground, winterized lodge and cabins, and picnic pavilions.

Our craft days invite families and friends to take part in a laid back crafting idea that can be completed in a two hour time frame or less. We provide the craft items and adults can work with their family members to complete the project. Material provided will be on a first come first serve basis.
