Semina Agro is a new generation company (focussing on the overall well being of farming community) with a vision to reach to more than 1 million farmers in 5 states of the country by 2022. The company has been registered under Company’s Act 1854 with its registered office at Bangalore, Karnataka, head office at Ranchi (Jharkhand) and branch offices at Jhargram(WestBengal), Raipur(Chatisgarh) and Guwahati(Assam).


Team Semina has a cumulative professional experience of over 60+ years and is a unique blend of expertise in livelihood sustainability, Agriculture and Agri allied activity. The combination of the talent of our team can uniquely support our partners’ needs and brings creative solution. Our agility, adaptive and attentive quality has earned us the love and respect from partners.

Semina Agro Professional is having experience in Agriculture & allied Sector with technical and professional background.The service basket includes ensuring quality seed/planting materials, training and handholding of farmers, providing low cost high quality agri-implements and monitoring & follow up support. The company is also having a pool of Agri and management professionals to provide agricultural consultancy and forward & backward linkages options to the farmers/organization/departments.

Our Reach

The team Semina Agro believes in TQM (total Quality Maintenance) at all level hence we continues to maintain or exceed standards. It can be seen in the diversified partners list including some of the formidable names in Civil Society organization, corporates, Government promoted and supported Societies, Producers organization and federations like : PRADAN, PRAN, Basix, KVK, ATMA, BRLPS, JSLPS, Moserbaer Trust, SUPPORT, SPWD, CInI,CML(Assam), ASA,PLAN International, Purpuligo Technologies etc. We have reached approximately 5 lakh farmers with diversified partners formidable among them are Jharkhand Livelihood Promotion Socity, Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society, Jharkhand Tribal Development Society, World Vision India, Child Fund India, Plan International, FPOs, CINI, CiNI ( Tata Trust) Mising Autonomous Council, Assam etc. We have our R & D unit at Bangalore.

Mohit Kumar

An MBA (Finance) professional with 25+ dynamic years in Finance and Business Development in Agricultural Commodity, CSR related assignment, Programme planning. Apt knowledge of rural based market combining expertise in innovating new marketing ideas. Resourceful in interacting with clients, cultivating relations with them for securing repeat business. At ease in working in multi-cultural and cross ethnic markets and possess thorough knowledge of the Industry, Products, Consumer Behaviour and Government Policies. Expertise in providing cutting-edge solutions, driving new business through key accounts and establishing strategic partnerships to increase revenues. Success in establishing market leadership and churning high profits for the organization with excellent levels of customer retention and loyalty. A methodical and result oriented team leader with an ability to work under stringent time constraints possessing exemplary communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and time management skills with demonstrable problem solving abilities.



Rajesh Das

Over Eighteen years of experience in operations, Projects, Development of Management information and tracking system module. Strong analytical and problem shooting skills. Exposure to various techno-commercial functions like office administration, Sales, System co-ordination, Purchase, billing etc.Innovative with proven ability to achieve organizational goals while displaying effective multi-tasking and time management skills.



Palash Bhusan Chatterjee

Dedicated and service-oriented professional with profound knowledge of planning, organizing, staffing and controlling Social & Community Development Programs. Equipped with 20 years of verifiable track record in program management, implementation and community outreach for mission-oriented organization; managing and coordinating large-scale event and program. Responsible and highly motivated professional with diverse experience in community outreach programs, managing overall operations and optimizing organizational processes.  Demonstrates professionalism in handling various organizational functions, developing community partnership and administering community based education and outreach programs. Successful in driving Marketing, Micro Enterprise Development, Community Mobilization project and expertise in maintaining liaison with external stakeholder. Innovative and reliable individual with proven ability to achieve organizational goals while displaying effective multi-tasking and time management skills.



Ashutosh Kumar

A PGDM (Marketing) with 10+ years of experience, who is enthusiastically takes on challenges, highly optimistic perceive risk, takes rational approach to decision making to mitigate risk. Presents well, takes initiative, believes in ability to build businesses. High social awareness; develops mutually beneficial relationships; open, positive demeanor
