We are a Very Small Store but used this app to create individual discount codes to give certain customers specific discounts. We also used it to create a sort of "gift certificate" situation where someone could buy an online product as a gift by giving the recipient a one-time discount code to use to redeem the online product for free. We found this app easy to use with nice options. We didn't try other apps first, so I don't know how it compares to other things.
