Title: Leaving Me Behind
Series: Standalone
Author: Sigal Ehrlich
Release date: June 5, 2015
Cliffhanger:No
HEA

Have you ever stopped and taken stock of where you are in life and wondered, "What if?" What if I could just run away, jump on a plane and never look back? Start over in a new country on a fresh page, seek out new adventures, and find the passion that's been missing in life? Liv does every day. Every day she fights the urge to boldly give up the cushy job that has given her a financially comfortable life, and seek inspiration and excitement. Because she's a reasonable, logical person, and they don't do impulsive and reckless things like that. Until one day, she snapped and finally made up her mind. She was going to quit her job, leave her therapist, and start over in a small and quiet beach town outside of Barcelona like she's always dreamed.

What I loved about this story was the heroine's leap of faith and pursuit of joy for her life. It was a story about self-renewal and healing and self-discovery. Liv has been seeing a therapist for the issues that have been plaguing her for her entire adult life. When it comes down to it, everything stems from some serious "Mommy issues." Her mother's inherent disapproval of every facet of her life and lack of acceptance has caused a rift between them. And understandably, the long-term affect has been that she never quite feels good enough. But she never quite knows how to correct it.

I completely loved the atmospheric setting in Spain and the multi-cultured friends that Liv connected with. It was a little bit reminiscent of Penny Reid's Knitting in the City group of girlfriends. They get together, share wine, and ponder men and dating. They were such an entertaining group of ladies, they put a big smile on my face seeing so many unique women come together and act silly and let loose. I enjoyed the humorous side of the book, it cut through the soberness of her personal journey and gave the book a lighthearted tone. The heroine's inner musings ranged from introspective, to intelligent humor, to self-depreciating wit. Not to mention a whole lot of lusty thoughts about one fiercely passionate Spaniard who she can't take her eyes off of, and vice versa.

The hero and heroine have a very unique meeting and following first interactions. They have this smouldering, buzzing attraction and don't do a lot of talking. They lock eyes on several occasions and Liv is ready to use a little sexual therapy to begin her new life.

He's all rough, sharp, and dripping of sin. Tan skin. His eyes warm, luring pools of dusky brown framed by thick, black lashes. It's more than evident his nose was broken. Nonetheless, it just adds the necessary touch of roughness. And...hand on heart, who doesn't really healthily appreciate roughness?

He's an amazing hero, I really loved Sebastian. He was that perfect strong and dominant type hero that had the ability to reach inside your chest and pull at your heartstrings at the same time. I can't fault him for a moment in the book, he was just that good. He was extremely sexy, sensual, and unwavering in his attempts to convince Liv to let him in. You see...

Liv was insane.

Okay, not really, but I did doubt her sanity after she pushed this perfect male specimen away at every turn of the page. Her original plan of a one-night stand steadily evolved through his perseverance. Not to mention: he rocked her world. Let me tell you, this book was provocative, lusty, and it made me swoon on numerous occasions.

Liv has a huge issue with allowing herself to become emotionally attached with people-but most especially with men. It's another result of her childhood issues that she is working to identify and overcome. I sympathized and appreciated the fact that such ingrained issues can't be magically, instantly solved. Her progression was honest and natural feeling. However, I'm not going to say it didn't frustrate me here and there. She was a difficult person to empathize with at times because of her stubbornness and attempts to keep her emotional distance. But in the end, I really enjoyed the message of discovering the ability to love yourself and change the things that drag you down and prevent you from seeing the beauty and promises that life has to offer.

This book was a fun, erotic story of one woman's journey finding happiness, trust, and love. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little bit different to escape in. For me, it was a sweet and romantic story that did not disappoint.

Yippee! I got my ARC! Will be reading soon!

Release: June 5th.
Stand-alone

The hero is Sebastian from Spain… author shared with me a few more details about him, but I am afraid I might have blown a fuse upon hearing that… figure tall, dark and handsome and oh he rides a black Ducati Diavel… [sigh!]

BLURB:
Fed up with her comfortable and dull-to-boredom life, Liv takes the bravest leap, leaving it all behind. Unfortunately the crux of her issues – her entrenched, well-kept emotional guard – tags along for the ride.

With the spirit of change burning from every pore and a determined plan to break free from her self-oppressed lifestyle to enjoy life’s simplest pleasures, she moves half way across the globe to a peaceful Spanish coastal town.

With an aim to feel whole again, liberated and happy by herself, Liv begins her journey while maintaining weekly-cyber therapy sessions with her long time, questionable shrink.

As Liv finally begins to enjoy her new life and experience the varied goods the exotic country has to offer, a sudden major turn leads Liv to be swept into the most tantalizing roller coaster of her life.

A turn that leaves her questioning everything she thought was right.

4-4.5 The End of Me Stars

This is the first book I've read by Sigal Erhlich, but it won't be my last. I really enjoyed this story.

Have you ever wished you just pick up and move somewhere else in the world and start over? I have. The heroine in this book does just that. When her best friend, Kai, who is a photographer, tells her he's leaving for an extended period of time for a job, she's left feeling all alone. Her relationship with her family is so-so. She really doesn't have a good relationship with her mother. Nothing Liv does is ever good enough for her mother. She's always dreamed of moving to Spain, so what better time than now to act on that dream.

So she does. She leaves everything in the states and heads to a little town outside of Barcelona. She's signed a lease for a year, but doesn't really know what she's going to do while she's there. On her first day there she accidentally flashes a cute guy walking by. Later she visits the local bakery and sees him again. While there she meets the owner of the cafe and before she knows it she has instantly made five new friends.

Later she sees him again while watching the bakery for her friend. The chemistry between these two could not be contained.

"Everything inside me aches for his touch."

Liv isn't good with letting people in, but for a one night stand she doesn't have to worry about that. That's all it is, A. One. Night. Stand.

"There's a lot to be said about sex, and one of them is how I never knew it could be so mesmerizing? Phenomenal? Fucking electrifying? Yeah, fucking is apparently electrifying."

The shower sex was awesome. Afterward she realizes she doesn't even know his name.

Sebastian doesn't see this as a one night stand. He pursues Liv, but promises not to let her fall in love.

The question is does he keep that promise? Will Liv continue to embrace her new free spirit lifestyle or will she run back to the U.S. because she is afraid to let Sebastian in? You have to read this book to find out.

I personally loved the writing of Sigal Erhlich. She painted such a beautiful picture with words that I was easily transported to this little town in Spain. I became an extra, sitting at the table with Liv and her friends enjoying the food and gossip. I don't know if I'll ever get a real chance to travel to Spain, but for a few hours I was there and loved every minute of it. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

The holy trinity of a beautiful romance. Sweet, seductive and swoony. This story about self-discovery and taking chances is alluring and beautifully written with charismatic characters that carved a place in my heart.

Liv’s life is awesome. On paper. In reality, she feels a bit hollow, unfulfilled and downright lacking color and excitment. When her best friend Kai announces he’s taking a job abroad for an indefinite amount of time, she decides to be a bit adventurous and a lot brave, takes a yearlong break from everything and moves all the way to a small town in Spain.
The core of my burn: I want to wake up somewhere else, somewhere completely new. Explore new places, meet new people, experience life, and experience the joys of life...

Set on finding contentment, along with weekly cyber-sessions with her psychologist, she starts dislodging her cold heart view of herself and begins to appreciate all the little things her new residence has to offer while embracing the warmth the citizens give. Including attentions of one very sexy Spaniard.

While on one of his routine runs on the beach in the small town of Serenidad, Sebastian Noé Balle happens upon the lovely new resident. After a couple of chance meetings and an intense attraction later they start the most enticing journey of their lives. But can Sebastian break through her self-imposed emotional walls? Or will Liv go back to her dissatisfied life in the States?

There are so many things about this book that I adored. I was introduced to Sigal’s writing through her Stark series and really enjoyed her style. I think Leaving Me Behind is her best book yet. It’s been a couple of days since I finished it and am still in book hangover and wishing these characters were as real as they felt and that I could go hangout with them in their exotic country.

Despite her mother’s disapproval and constant scrutiny, Liv is smart and funny and incredibly brave. I loved her even when I wanted to take her by the shoulders and shake because she wouldn’t let her guard down. I loved that she took a chance, even though slowly and cautiously opening up to a new life, a great group of woman and an incredibly provoking man.
“Open them, now tell me if it’s balanced,” he kisses my lips gently. “Complex.” Another kiss. “Evolved.” A more profound one. Tastes like an orgasm? I close my eyes, lick my slightly pulsing lips, his hand trails slowly under the hem of my dress, holding my thigh.

When you look up the word swoon, Sebastian Noé Balle will be listed as an example. He’s the perfect blend of a smart, hardworking businessman and the embodiment of virile and sexy. I loved how he sometimes slowly coaxed and sometimes blatantly pushed Liv into opening up to him so they could reach for more.
“I’m trying to give this a chance to actually grow into something meaningful while you keep going one step forward and ten back… you are afraid to give us a chance.”

The dynamic between Liv and Sebastian is spellbinding. Their bond started out as only physical, but even with all the sizzling moments between Sebastian and Liv, we’re never distracted from the underlining plotline that moves the story forward, which is for Liv to break free of her self-imposed oppression and truly live life.
"My eyes remain closed as I savor the taste of his mouth, his tongue, and his sweet, musky scent wafting around me. God, he smells like warm, rich, spicy chocolate. He smells like molten chocolate with a sprinkle of chili."

Well, maybe I did get a bit distracted at times with the sweet, playful, sinfully seductive, scorching chemistry between these two that set my eReader aflame.

I mentioned before Liv’s group of friends. This group women that gathered periodically reminded me so much of my own friends and get-togethers. Each of them is unique and so very different but at the same time they thoroughly support each other. They added another layer of reality that made me want to go to one of their “cooking classes” or at the very least call my friends up and tell them how much I appreciate them.

Sigal Ehrlich writes an exquisite story in which every attention to detail, from the carefully chosen chapter/song titles that conveyed what was to come, to the beautiful descriptions of places, food and people, to the impossible to ignore Star Wars reference, is brilliantly executed.

Leaving Me Behind is a standalone, contemporary romance novel that will go directly to my re-read shelf. It’s written from the heroine’s point of view. With a wonderful happy ending.

I'm also hoping we'll get to read more about Kai. I'm sure he has some great stories of his own to tell.

Liv is a successful business woman. But she's not really happy with that life.
So against the advice of her therapist and her parents - she decides to leave her corporate life for a while, and rents a beach house in a little spanish town near Barcelona.
To do what? She's not really sure...to find herself? To find happiness? To find love? To just chill and relax? She doesn't really know, but she will probably notice it, once it happens.

Once there she very soon finds good friends at the local coffee-shop.

And she finds HIM.

Well, she didn't really find him, she accidentally flashed him, while standing on her terrace one day.

Then she saw him again at the café and again at a club... she still doesn't know his name, just that he's the most gorgeous man she's ever seen.

description

And he keeps flirting with her... this perfect man, flirting with this chubby, slightly older woman!
But she's not in spain for a one-night-stand...or is she??
But definitely not for something more, right?
And pffff, as if this gorgeous and young GQ-Calvin-Klein-Latino-Abercrombie-Model would be interested in anything long-term...with her!
But, what if?????

What will happen to Liv?
Will she give up her soul-searching for a maybe-happy-after with a strange guy?
What about her best friend Kai back home and their pact to get married at 35 should they both still be single?
Will she stay in Spain or go back 'home'?
But where is home??
Will there be a horrible Cliffhanger?

description

Nope - I'm not telling you ☺

description

Ok - I can tell you that there won't be a Cliffhanger!! It's a stand-alone Romance!!!

I REALLY LOoOVED THE BOOK!

A new Sigal Ehrlich book????

description

I've loved Sigal's books ever since I read the STARK series!!!
And even though this one was completely different, it was still really amazing!

I loved every second of it.

I might not have loved every single second of Liv - because she's a bit too weird for me. Well, not really weird - she's really unhappy with her life. There are all her mom's unreachable expectations and her unhappiness with her figure and lots of stuff...she has to understand that she has to deal with everything in her life FOR HERSELF - not because of her mom, or a guy or whatever.
And it takes her this whole book to finally get - or not - who knows ☺ I'm not telling you!!!! ☺

I LOOOOooOooOOVED our sexy Spaniard!!! Ugh!!!

description

He's young, yes, but he's a businessman and really responsible and really handsome and nice and hot and sexy and kind and gorgeous and did I mention HOT AS HELL???? ☺

description

Plus - he knows what Liv needs - in every aspect ... she's the only one fighting with everything... but she'll get there one day ☺ Probably ☺

I love a good, sexy romance...and this one was just perfect.

Lots of sexy gorgeousness in the form of our nameless Spaniard (He's not nameless of course - but it takes Liv a while to find out his name - so I'm not telling you either!) ...

description

LOTS and LOOOTS of sexy & erotic & romantic scenes...

description

and there were even some scenes that made me and Dawson cry!!! ☺

description

I LOVED EVERY WORD OF THIS BOOK!!!!

There were so many great moments ... it's not your usual sexy romance where a girl meets a boy and they fall in love and bam! - misunderstanding - and make-up-sex and HEA!
It's ... hm - more grown up I think... more mature. But don't let me confuse you now - it's not that Liv is over 50 or something ☺ She's only 32 ☺☺☺ It's just that she's in a bit of a midlife crisis...that's why it feels a bit more mature than all those other romances out there!

Just try it - give it a chance - you'll sooo fall in love with peeeeep-the-sexy-Spaniard ☺

LEAVING ME BEHIND was an amazingly beautiful & sexy & funny - 'makes-you-think' Romance! About a girl trying to find meaning in her life again - and she might just find it in Spain with a sexy-as-hell piece of gorgeousness! ☺ GO AND BUY THE BOOK!!!! You don't want to miss it!

I'm so fed up with having to leave 'ranty' or unpopular reviews these days. I'm just over it. So as of right now, I'm just going to say that I didn't like this book. It didn't captivate me, I didn't find it intriguing or frankly enjoyable and the heroine was even a bit pitiful at times.

Okay, moving on.

I might come back and review this one day but I kind of doubt it. If you read it, I hope it resonates better with you than it did I.

****4-4.5 “Me muero por escucharte decir las cosas que nunca digas” stars****
"I'm dying to hear you say the things that you never say"

I was provided a copy of Leaving Me Behind to read and review. A brief summary of the story is Liv quits her boring life and makes the conscious decision to escape the norm and push to follow through. She decides to travel to Spain and live there for a while in order to free herself from the daily grind, to leave it all behind and feel more alive and inspired, and start her life anew. She rents a lovely small apartment and she makes new friends. Her encounter with Sebastian is what really shakes up her boring old patterns. After an amazing and unforgettable one night stand, Liv and Sebastian realize that together they are a perfect match.

Immersing herself into a different culture, speaking a different language, and dating a Spanish man was all she needed for her abroad experience to be complete. Falling in love happened when she least expected it and weren’t searching for it. The chemistry between the two is undeniable. They both surrender to passion and don’t worry about love changing their plans.

The first couple of chapters, for me, were slow, but once the story got going, I could not stop reading. I came to care about each and every character in the book. The writing made me feel the love between Liv and Sebastian and the physical interactions between them were hot and you could feel their emotion throughout.

It’s a story about hopes and dreams and finding love in the most unexpected of places.

It’s a sweet and very-very sexy story heavy on love and angst, but not on exaggerated drama.

The uplifting moment was the ending, when Liv makes a decision for herself, leaving behind a major part of her life. When I think of that kind of love, I smile and I say…

For some reason I never seemed to click with this story. The storyline was decent. The love story was sweet. The characters were not off-putting. Yet, I never really felt like the story grabbed me.

The heroine, Liv, decides to up and leave her life one day. She sets out to live a new and exciting life in Spain, on an extended vacation of sorts. While there, she makes new friends and falls in love with a younger man, Sebastian.

Overall, it was okay. It was sweet and a nice way to pass some time. The book was well-written and the characters were likable, especially the ladies. However, it wasn't a story that really sucked me in. I wasn't completely captivated with the story and/or characters, like I am when I read a phenomenal story. Don't know why, but it just wasn't there for me. It was alright, but not fantastic for me.

I have been in a massive book funk since I read Layers and Inner Core by the fabulous Sigal Ehrlich (two seriously great books).

Now I just feel like....

I loved Sebastian.. Very much. Except for the very very hypocritical standing he took on the Lola and Kai situations. That conversation between Liv and Sebastian should have happened. Why was it ok for him to have such a close relationship with Lola after being intimate but he had huge problems with Liv and Kai. Ok aside from that I adored him. I really couldn't connect with Liv at all. She was so cold.. So selfish and so I can't even describe how badly I really felt so apathetic one minute to disgusted the next. Also I don't want my heroines kissing anyone else. I don't want my heroes having their ex lovers kissing them on the lips and constantly touching them either. . . Between Lola and Kai this book wasn't safe enough for me.
Having said all of this, I'd like now to say that I really felt this author had a warm writing style and was amazing at creating passionate love scenes. I do plan on checking out more of her work. If I'd have known the Lola and Kai scenes were in this book I wouldn't have read it though. That is just my personal triggers speaking.

☆ I received an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you 'kindred spirit'! ☆

Leaving Me Behind is a beautiful and exquisite tale of taking risks, finding and rediscovering yourself, and starting over in a foreign land far, far away.

It was elegantly executed and made my heart flutter and all giddy. Especially, with the whole European getaway and romance embedded into the midst!

Loved it!!!

I would have given this more stars, but Liv ruined the book for me. The whole book she sounded and acted like an old lady.

5+ stars. What can I say, Ms Ehrlich has done it again! I have a special place in my heart for her books and this one did NOT disappoint. We meet Liv who is more than tired of her life as she knows it and is ready for change. Her life has pretty much consisted of nothing but work and of course her best friend, Kai, and her occasional meeting with Dr. Smarta$$, her therapist. (Love his name BTW) Liv decides to rent a house in Spain for a year to try and take some time for herself and figure out what she really wants in life now. Liv goes to a coffee shop not long after arriving and meets Vivian, who ends up later introducing her to a great group of ladies. All of them include Liv in their circle as if she had always been there. Of course, not long after settling in she meets the mysterious, yet handsome, albeit nameless to her, Sebastian. I don't want to give too much of the story away, but just know he is absolutely yummy! He eventually breaks down those walls that Liv has constructed over the years, while holding his ground on what he wants from her as well. Oh and the sex? There is definitely more smut in this book, but it SO worked. It was perfect...and hawt! While they had a few hiccups along the way, there is no major outside drama keeping this couple from their HEA which I loved. Yay to no cliffhangers!

The attention to detail that this author applies to her writing is amazing. You truly feel like you're with the characters, every step of the way. Not just the scenery and characters themselves, but their emotions as well. You have got to pick up this book. You will NOT be disappointed!

Liv is a highly successful, intelligent, closed off woman who decides it's time for a change. She uproots her whole life to move to Spain. She needs to escape her overbearing mother and a friendship with her best friend that she wishes would be more. As soon as she gets to Spain she meets new friends and settles in perfectly. But, a handsome Spanish stranger is about to shake her world up even more. And that is when Liv really starts to come into her own, Sebastian makes her feel things she never thought she would feel and takes her places she never thought she would go.

I loved everything about this book. It's a perfect story about one woman's journey to self discovery and acceptance. Liv grows so much as a person during her experiences, and it's so well written I feel as if I'm on the journey with her. I really like her, she is a great character. Sebastian is smoking hot, but more than that he is so sweet and patient with Liv it will make your heart melt. The supporting cast of characters are interesting in their own right and I would love to read more about them.

All in all this is a perfect book, it has everything you could want in a romance, great story, some angst, and incredibly sexy love scenes. This book was a joy to read!

I was very lucky and honoured to be given an ARC by Sigal to review. Having read and loved all Sigal's previous books I opened this with great excitement and anticipation. I was not disappointed. Sigal did mention to me before reading that this book was a little naughty and she was right. I could not get enough of the fireworks sparking between Liv and Sebastien right from first glance. Starting of as purely physical and developing into an amazing emotional connection. The joy and heartbreak through out the story make it a real page turner. Add into the mix 5 best friends, all completely different and unique. Reading about them I felt I would love all these ladies as my own best friends.
This is definately the best book I have read this year and look forward to many more from Sigal.

5 stars

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Sigal Ehrlich continues to surprise me with every new, wonderful book she sets free. I become more and more infatuated with her and her style of writing with each new story. Having loved her since reading Layers, I can honestly say that I believe Leaving Me Behind is her best work to date. It was so different from everything she's done previously. It was sweet, sexy, and had me, at times, not knowing what to expect next. It was a page-turner in the truest since. I simply could not get enough.

It's not just about the hero and heroine's connection, it's about so much more. Liv needed a break from life. A dream she's had for so long, she takes the plunge and goes on the vacation she's always wanted. While there, she meets some of the best people, a great group of ladies who she finally feel a connection to, which is rare for Liv. She also meets Sebastian Noé Balle. With his sexy, Spanish accent and his teasing smile, he's a sight that no one minds looking at. There's an instant connection, one that may start as just physical, but transforms before either of them realize it. But Liv has walls up that prevent her from seeing it, walls that could tear them apart.

"Me estoy enamorando de ti."

That sentence alone had me wishing for my own Spanish lover to come and whisper sweet nothings in my ear. As much as she tries to be, even Liv isn't immune to all that is Sebastian.
And can I just talks about Liv's friends for a minute. Vivian, Dominique, Stephy, Embar, and Alma are some of the best girlfriends you could ask for. They're all so different from each other, yet they compliment and balance each other out perfectly.

I can't say enough about this book. It's one of my favorite reads of the year. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, more than just the typical guy meets girl and falls in love, and more about a woman trying to finally start living and making true connections along the way, this story fits the bill. You will not be disappointed. You'll wish you had discovered the absolute genius that is Sigal Ehrlich and all that she is sooner.

4.5 Stars

As a blog, I know we have reviewed books by this author before, but for me, this is the first book I've read by Sigal Ehrlich and I have to say, I wasn't disappointed.

One of the things I can say about this book is, I actually expected a darker read. I don't know if the cover made me make that assumption, but quite honestly, this was a fun, sexy story.

It starts out with Liv, a thirty something woman. She has a good life in the sense that she is financially secure, but she feels she wants more out of life and so she decides to move temporarily to a small town in Spain and it's here she meets an incredibly hot mysterious stranger.

I could tell you the guys name, but a small part of the story is the build up to revealing his name, so I will leave that a mystery also. What I can say is that I loved him from the very beginning. He wasn't anything particularly different to the book boyfriends I have encountered before and in all honesty it is Liv and her new friends in Spain, who make this book what it is. Liv does have some issues to work through and I'm not sure I understood some of her thought processes, but she completely won me over.

There we're some funny, laugh out loud moments, there were also moments of emotion. So I say to those who are looking for a quick, funny, sexy standalone I highly recommend this book to you.

FULL REVIEW NOW POSTED:

4.5 stars!

This book was so different from what I usually read! The plot, the writing, everything was amazing and it sucked me right into the story and never wanted to leave!

Liv has a great job, great life & best friend Kai, but she’s bored and wants to do something different. So she quits her job and finds herself in Spain. There she meets a hunky & hot but younger Spanish man! Damn, he’s all alpha and holy Jesus, he’s sweet, swoon-worthy, has this amazing Spanish accent, and did I mention HOT?? I was probably drooling over him. I’m not going to mention his name because you find that out later in the book. Which I thought was a great touch to the story.

While there, Liv meets some life-long friends and someone to come home to everyday. I loved Liv’s character! I thought she was independent, sassy and so brave to do what she did. Not everyone has the courage to leave everything and try to find themselves.

This story was a journey of self-discovery, friendships, home, and finding love. I loved the was this story was written because it made me feel like I was living in Spain and enjoying the great food and men. Sigal did a wonderful job with this story and I can’t wait to read more books from her

This was an interesting read in the sense that it's about a woman in her mid 30's trying to find herself again, when many at that age have found themselves and their story already. Now, in order to do that, Liv has decided to move to Spain to travel, discover it and take a much needed vacation at the same time. Little did Liv realize that "exploration" would forever change her life.

Liv’s relationship with the Spanish Sebastian is HOT from the beginning, the chemistry is sizzling and I will say that towards the end my heart was breaking for both of them. I wanted to knock some sense into them, yet Liv had already made up her mind so there was no way of shaking some sense into her! Would they fight for what they have or just go their separate ways?

I thought it was unique how each chapter title was a certain song that described the chapter, pretty cool. Sweet, hot story of loving and fighting for your happiness. ~ Kara, 4 stars

Blurb:
He was supposed to be a personal challenge. A Spanish lover – younger and sinfully attractive. A daring, wild experience for one night.

My liberation from my self-oppressed lifestyle was planned out carefully down to the last detail.
Everything except . . .
HIM.

I didn’t see it coming, not by a long shot. My plan was safe. I was going to quit my job, say goodbye to the restraints of the life I had known, and follow my dreams.
I rented a house halfway across the globe in an exotic Spanish town on the coast. I made some new friends. I reveled in luscious food and a stunning landscape. Most of all I savored my new found freedom.
That is until I met HIM.

It was supposed to be a night of lost inhibitions, soon to become a sweet memory. That was my plan.

He had something different in mind.

"Leaving Me Behind" ....... I think not !!!
ARC given by author
OMG the only thing "left behind" after reading this book was my emotions !!!!
Sigal once again had me hooked from the first page.
This story will take you on an emotional journey that you feel your part of, the characters draw you in and you think your part of their crazy group.
I must be getting cynical as i kept waiting for Sebastian to be damaged or emotionally unavailable but no .... He was literally to good to be true...... 'Swoon'
Liv and Sebastian's journey is one of true romance (with the odd hiccups) naturally, but overall a genuine romance, just with lots of amazing hot sex !!!
If your a fan of Sigal's or just romance in general you do not want to miss this one. A definite 5 Star buy !!!!

* * ARC given on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * *
This was a great book. Liv isn't happy with the way her life is , to her it's pretty flat and boring, it's lacking so when her friend tells her he's taking an international job it gives her an idea. on her trip to Spain Liv starts seeing herself differently and enjoy what Spain has to offer including a sexy beast name Sebastian. There is chemistry between them both and they take a journey together, but of course nothing is perfect, can they survive issues of the past , will Liv trust or put up walls again, I really enjoyed this book.
