They took the payment but never sent my order confirmation or the goods. I've sent a couple of emails to them to ask about this but both emails remain unanswered.

Excellent customer service
The support was very helpful although it meant ending the wine glass subscription I'd bought for my partner. Given Fiona was honest, straightforward and prompt in her actions, I'm far more likely to return and try other products from the range at a later date than if she tried to persevere with a product that wasn't right for him. It's a shame this subscription wasn't a good fit, but I read all the reviews before buying it, so the wine list has a good range and is clearly a good bunch to do business with! Thank you Wine List!

I’m 5 months into my subscription and really enjoying the experience so far. A wonderful selection of wines and a great deal of information provided. I subscribe to the case edition which is a lot of wine, but means that every glass of wine I have at home is a real learning experience, plus there’s plenty for sharing/gifting. Each time I’ve contacted customer services they have been quick to respond and really helpful. Keep up the good work, guys.

I absolutely love this company. They offer an outstanding wine subscription which is so thoughtfully put together and the online wine tastings are fun and incredibly informative.
I had a query around delivery of a box and the response was quick and they had already resolved the issue for me.

Josh & co. are running a fine ship full of good people with solid products and evolving service offerings. I really like the By The Glass box subscription: I get to taste wines before I commit without the risk of becoming a Lockdown Drinker. I've had a few shipping problems, and a few quick emails with the support team cleared most things up (we're still trying to sort one more issue out, and I think we're on a good track for that). The Wine List are a flexible, knowledgeable, compassionate lot who know their wines and have really interesting supply connections. And for the love of compassion, check out their reviews of supermarket wines, so helpful!

I’ve been subscribed to the wine list for over a year. Each time the box arrives I don’t waste any time opening it up and seeing what I will be trying.
I love the variety of wines you get and it has certainly opened my eyes to regions I wouldn’t normally consider buying from. We have on occasion reordered wine that we loved directly from the wine list.
For anyone who wants to learn more about wine or just wants to guarantee every month they will get a great selection of wine I’d highly recommend you sign up.
Surprisingly, I’ve found that overall I probably drink less alcohol than before as I prefer drinking wine from the wine list as opposed to other alcoholic beverages.

The trial box I ordered didn’t arrive after a while, so I contacted The Wine List. They sent a new box immediately and reduced £5 from my next subscription bill as a sorry. Very prompt reply and good communication. Also most importantly, I liked the wines I received! I have to say I had a little doubt about the quality but they were hidden but good value wines as they advertise.

I've been a member for a while and think it's a great subscription. You learn a lot along the way and everything from the tasting cards to the online content looks good - but I like it most for the wine selections. It's all too easy to gravitate towards the usual suspects when shopping for wine. Wine List breaks this pattern and introduces you to bottles you'd never otherwise pick up. I see them as trusted wine selectors, and equally as good for experienced drinkers as those newer to wine.

I am retired and have been drinking cheap supermarket wine for years, I never really got into more expensive wines unless someone else served
them to me. So now I can afford to spend a bit more, I had a look at the Wine List. I like the way you can learn more about wine in a practical and entertaining way without having to go through all the "I'm
getting coffee floorboards and wallpaper stuff". It is interesting to see why there is such a wide variety of flavours and the effect that say acidity has on taste.
The Wine List manages to make the tastings interesting and entertaining. They aren't cheap but I was surprised how nice the wines are. I am especially fond of a couple of Bulgarian ones they sent out recently. They spend a lot of effort sourcing wine from smaller producers that have been made with pride, not stuff from a 50,000 litre stainless steel tank. Of course this costs more but it is like the difference between artisan bread and a big bakery
The staff are also friendly helpful and responsive, they are a small company but growing fast and i hope they don't lose this personal contact feel and become like the other big wine box shifters.

Did I cancel my gym membership to start the Wine List subscription? Maybe. Do I have any regrets? Absolutely not.
It's completely revolutionised my approach to wine drinking: I now enjoy white wine, I know what orange wine tastes like, and I'm able to look at a wine list in a restaurant and not just go for the second cheapest wine.
The company keeps improving too – since I first joined they've revamped the site and there's now videos explaining what each month's wine tastes like, online notes and a great selection of extra wines to buy.
It's really the perfect subscription – you learn a new skill (appreciating wine) and get 2 amazing bottles delivered a month.

It's become an event as the box arrives and has really made us understand the subtle flavours and variations within the grape varieties and countries that produce . We've tried excellent wines from places we would never have had the confidence to buy from - lots to learn still but such a great company to guide us !
