Ventura County is joining in a celebration of LGBTQ+ pride month.
The county will have a special ceremony, and raise a pride flag at the Ventura County Government Center Wednesday afternoon.
The event is part of nationwide celebrations of the LGBTQ+ plus community’s courage, history, and struggles for equality.
The noon event at the Government Center is open to the public.
