Garlic & Herb Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 pounds starchy potatoes (like russet, idaho or yukon gold), clean and unpeeled
- 1-2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 cup diced soft butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 garlic clove
- thyme and rosemary to taste
- nutmeg to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Put the potatoes in a large pot with cold water and salt.
- Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 25-30 minutes (until well done).
