Patrick’s Mahomes’ fiancée Brittany Matthews is riding on the backlashes she received from her champagne celebration of the Chiefs’ victory to create “Team Brittany” shirts for an anti-bullying charity. Brittany is turning the backlashes into a campaign to stop online bullying.
Via TMZ:
Remember, Brittany Matthews was ripped on social media for spraying bubbly on fans at Arrowhead Stadium after the Chiefs’ overtime thriller victory over the Bills last weekend.
BM initially returned fire, saying she was tired of routinely being “attacked” … but switched it up after she spoke with Charlie Hustle, a local t-shirt designer and seller, about making “Team Brittany” shirts.
“Me and my team have decided to try to turn this buzz into something and something good for the Kansas City community,” Matthews said Thursday via IG.
“We have decided that part of the proceeds from the sales of this shirt are gonna go to Red Card KC which is a local charity here in Kansas City that works to prevent bullying.
“The 26-year-old says she gets bullied all the time on the net … so it means a lot that she’s able to help. “I do receive a lot of hate on a daily basis on social media and I know so so so many other people do as well,” Matthews said.
“That’s why I’m just proud to partner with this company and get behind this cause and hopefully push everything into the right direction and start spreading some more positivity on all of these platforms.”
I think the Future Mrs. Mahomes should ask herself a question. Is anyone bothering or in her worlds bullying Josh Allen or Joe Burrow’s significant others?
They root for their team, they love and support their man, but they don’t get any of the backlash that Matthews does, and there is a reason for that.
Ms. Matthews needs to be more self-aware. While there will always be trolls and bullies out there, there are tons of people who just impartially don’t like her because, and excuse my french. She is annoying as f*ck. Now, it doesn’t matter what they think. As long as Patrick and her family and friends love her, she shouldn’t worry about it. She needs to stop the victim-blaming and realize she brings a lot of this on herself by her actions.
At least the money for the shirts is going for a good cause, but again, she is making it all about her, which is consistent with almost everything she says and does.
Flip to the next page for all her karenesque behavior.
