Requesting your feedback
Record Searchlight readers, in February we asked you to give us feedback on our coverage of North State news, and the responses poured in. Last month, we partnered with the University of Texas at Austin on a survey asking right-leaning and conservative readers what they think of news coverage, and dozens of you participated.

We are listening. Your responses to the first survey prompted us to start Ask the Record Searchlight. Maybe you’ve caught one of the live chats or read one of the Q&A mailbags, where the reporters answer questions that you submit.

Ask the R-S is a newsroom-wide effort to connect with you about issues in our communities.
We host the one-hour chats on Redding.com every other Thursday.
We produce a mailbag every other Tuesday with answers we are not able to get to during the chats.
We’ve published several articles with your questions as our starting point, and we plan to write more stories.
We also started a monthly column to get to questions you may have about us and our news coverage.

We're committed to continuing to improve and earn your trust. Please help us by answering these five questions.
