The SUN reports that;
The 22-year-old announced she was unretiring to return for her fifth year of eligibility in October.
And in her latest Instagram post, Haley has revealed to her over 700,000 followers that she will be attending TCU.
In a post captioned “the last rodeo,” she posed in her new purple and black uniform while wearing a crown, and sat on a golden throne while holding a bedazzled basketball.
Haley followed this up by adding “See ya next season Fort Worth” in her Story.
Despite the fact that Hanna won’t be joining her in representing the Horned Frogs, she clearly remains supportive of her sister, commenting: “GO FROGSSS BABY.”
She also joked: “Mom just bought purple cowboy boots after seeing this.”
Natalie Cavinder, their younger sister, also weighed in, writing: “I’m all the sudden a HUGE TCU fan.”
While Haley’s rumored boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, added: “GO FROGS.”
Haley also announced the major career decision on TikTok and got fans of college sports excited. Fans are happy Haly is coming back to college sports as they’ve missed her on the court.
Haley’s decision to unretire came as somewhat of a surprise, given the success of her and Hanna’s growing WWE career as well as their podcast.
However, in an interview with Forbes, she said that deep down, she wasn’t ready to quit playing just yet.
Haley explained: “I think ending it with Hanna and announcing that we were done and not going to take our fifth year, I felt—honestly, to be very transparent—a lot of pressure.”
She later added: “There was nothing filling the love for the game, and I just truly was like, I know I’m going to regret it down the road if I don’t go back.”
As for her decision to transfer from Miami after reaching the Elite Eight last season, Haley said it was down to wanting to “be impactful.”
“I want to win. Obviously with Miami, we got deep into the tournament and it was the best feeling ever. I think that I want to go somewhere and win for my fifth year, be impactful and just lead my team.”
All the best to Haley Cavinder as she makes a return to the court after exiting college sports for WWE.
