Programme Objective

This programme is aimed at equipping finance professionals on how to get better clarity on the coaching skills they need and the strategies to help solve performance issues and build collaborative teams.

Programme Outline

  • Getting results as a coach to the team:
    Framing what coaching is all about and what kind of results one can achieve if applied in the right situation. The platform is set to help finance professionals get first-hand feel of what it is like to coach one-on-one.
  • Understanding employees character and capabilities:
    Effective techniques to learn more about employees’ character and capabilities. This section will look at the four techniques and using some forms and questionnaire to assist the coach to understand the employees better.
  • Managing within the coaching model:
    There are case studies for discussions and exploring various perspectives and possibly solutions on how to manage within the coaching context and brainstorming ways to foster better or enhanced team collaboration.
  • Distilling wisdom of coaching:
    Learning the wisdom from others and helping managers to harness this wisdom for their own success. Sharing what they learnt from this online learning session and tips and other feedback from both trainer and participants.


Pre-requisites

Please take note of the following admission requirements:

  • Trainings will be conducted on Zoom platform, thus video camera and microphone are compulsory
  • Mandatory for video camera to be turned on throughout the course
  • Display your official name (as per NRIC) in Zoom, to facilitate attendance taking

Mini lectures, exercises, case studies, mini group discussions and role play.
