Danger is closing in.

Kerrigan Whitaker has spent the past two years reinventing herself into the strong, independent woman she’s always wanted to be, and running her first ultra marathon is the chance to prove to herself and everyone else how far she’s come. Her failed marriage made her wary of relationships, so she’s not ready to get involved with anyone else. Not even the man she secretly fantasizes about—who also happens to be her brother’s best friend. But when people she works closely with are murdered, she goes to the only place she feels safe—Crimson Point, and the man who tempts her like no other.

And the killer is closer than they realize.

Air National Guard Pararescueman Travis Masterson loves his career and has dedicated his life to saving and protecting others. There’s only one thing missing. After a shocking attack leaves her in the crosshairs of a cold-blooded killer, Travis is the only one who can save her. With her life in his hands, he’ll risk it all to stop the killer and protect the woman he can’t live without.

4.25 stars—FALLING HARD is the first instalment in Kaylea Cross’ contemporary, adult CRIMSON POINT PROTECTORS romantic suspense series, a spin off from the author’s Crimson Point series. This is HR rep Kerrigan Whitaker, and Air National Guard Pararescueman Travis Masterson’s story line. You do not have to have read the Crimson Point series although several characters cross over for cohesion and familiarity.

Told from several third person perspectives FALLING HARD follows several interconnecting paths including the search and rescue in Yemen of Kerrigan Whitaker’s brother Brandon; the building relationship between Travis and Kerrigan, and the potential fall-out in the wake of a controversial firing, as the members of the legal firm for which Kerrigan works are killed, one victim at a time. During the team’s recent mission to Yemen, Brandon Whitaker had been captured and tortured, tortured for information he knew nothing about. Rescued and recovering at his sister’s home Brandon struggles to move forward, eventually seeking solace with his best friend and teammate Travis in Crimson Point. Travis Masterson has fallen in love with his best friend’s sister Kerrigan, a forbidden relationship in the face of friendship and respect but not all is well at the law firm for which Kerrigan works, a firm that is currently embroiled in a potential breach of national security. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Travis and Kerrigan, and the fall-out as Kerrigan is targeted for perceived betrayal.

Kerrigan Whitaker struggles with issues of trust since the demise of her marriage to an emotionally abusive man. Kerrigan battles between head and heart with her attraction to brother’s best friend Travis, a man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine but Kerrigan has uncovered a possible connection to her brother’s capture, a connection that may have placed our heroine and her brother in the direct line of fire. Travis Masterson knows that Kerrigan Whitaker is the woman that controls his heart but our hero needs to tread carefully, biding his time fearing losing our heroine in the process.

The relationship between Travis and Kerrigan is a best friend’s sister relationship wherein Travis has fallen for our story line heroine. Threats against Kerrigan pull Travis in as guardian and protector but Travis is unable to be in all places at all times. Kerrigan’s need for independence and respect finds our heroine facing off against her family, her brother, and the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Kerrigan’s brother Brandon, and her co-workers Beth, Carl and Wayne; psychologist Mia Ramos, and pararescueman Asher “Groz” Grozinski. The requisite evil has many faces.

FALLING HARD is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and vengeance, corruption and death. The fast paced premise is intriguing, captivating and engaging ; the characters are energetic and dynamic ; the romance is seductive and intense.

I'm just not feeling this plot or the characters at all. The whole thing just doesn't do it for me. You have a heroine, Kerrigan Whitaker, who is two years post-divorce who is "reinventing" herself to be stronger and more independent. She is training to run an ultra-marathon, 100 miles of pure torture, if you ask me. She works for a law firm as head of HR in Portland. There is a slime partner who causes a woman who complained about his slimy ways to be fired and our "stronger and more independent" HR manager just goes along with it.

Other strange things are happening at the law firm. Sensitive files from an evil military contractor, Graystone, sequestered in a safe, a partner is murdered (but not the slime ball, but he will get his too), and Kerrigan gets followed. This sends her into the arms of her brother's best friend in Crimson Point, where she really wants to be, but since she is being "stronger and more independent" she can't depend on a man, especially after her asshat ex did a number on her self-esteem.

Travis Masterson, Air National Guard Pararescueman and medical assistant is in love with his best friend's sister, Kerrigan. Why? I have no idea. But he fears if he makes a move he will probably spook her and all will be lost. Did something in those mysterious files has put her in danger? Travis has pledged to protect her, and she is gonna need him, bigtime.

Falling Hard😍

Falling Hard is the first book in the Crimson Point spin off and focuses on Boyd’s son Travis. Travis is shocked when Kerrigan contacts him to tell him that Brandon, her brother is MIA in Yemen😳 Travis decides to tag along with the team to try locate Brandon.

Kerrigan is not interested in a relationship with anyone as she’s currently working on herself and has been a work in progress for a few years. She’s signed up to do an Ultramarathon but when things at work start looking a bit on the dangerous side, she goes to Crimson Point.

I loved this story❣️It was quick paced and had twists I was NOT expecting…kind of hit me in the face like BOOM, Here you go😉 I’m so excited about this new series and I can’t wait for more🤩 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I couldn’t deal with heroine anymore longer, she got on my nerves so much. H was just saying that if she needed help that she only needed to call him and he’ll be there for her and she somehow twisted it all backwards and in her dumb stupid head said that he thought she isn’t strong or capable and couldn’t take care of her brother. Bitch, weren’t his words literally about just calling him if she needed help? In no way he said she isn’t capable or strong, where the hell did she got it out from, from her ass? And I don’t even care that she understood that she overreacted, she acted like a bitch to him whereas he’s been only kind to her. Plus she said to her friend that she basically told him “not to let the door hit his ass on the way out” where in reality she just told him “drive carefully” huh? I’m sorry, I didn’t know that drive carefully was meant in something insulting. God, I hate these types of heroines, if they can’t be kind then what’s even the point to read further, she has already tainted my first impression of her and the first impression is that she’s a bitch

This is a good start to the authors new series, although it’s a new series the story is set in the same location as her previous Crimson Point series, so we have reoccurring characters appearing.
Travis is the son of Boyd from Dangerous Survivor, he and his best friend Brandon are military brothers, Kerrigan is Brandon’s sister.
This is a slow burn romance between Travis and Ker, I kinda wanted more romance, although this could just be me not being a fan of slow burn romance 🤷🏻‍♀️ the suspense is as expected with a good Kaylea Cross story, there looks to be an ongoing storyline with Brandon’s book up next, so although it’s not a cliffhanger we are left with unanswered questions.
Looking forward to book 2

You can never go wrong with a book written by this talented author, and this first book in the spin off series of Crimson Point, proves me right.
The reader’s attention is grabbed from the first page to the last.
This first story belonging to Travis Masterson, a National Guard Pararescueman as well as a physician assistant. He loves his life and secretly has been in love with Kerrigan Whitaker, his best friend’s sister.
Unbeknown to him, she too has feelings for him, but she’s still recovering from a nasty divorce and wants to show the world she is stronger than anyone thinks . When Kerrigan realizes the company she is working for is not what it seems and people working there are being murdered, Travis is determined to risk his life to keep her safe.
This introduction to the series is filled with suspense, bad guys, hunky good ones, danger and of course, romance. Never a dull moment and a story that will have you reading till the wee hours of the night.
Though not a cliffhanger, some issues are left unresolved. Leaving me looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Kerrigan is determined to show herself and her family how tough she is now that she’s come through the other side of her divorce. Her brother’s best friend is involved in his rescue as a hostage overseas. Neither suspects the danger that’s following Kerrigan. I started this series after coming off of reading a Stoker series. I love her formula. These are similar, and yet somehow, they don’t have the same appeal for me. I find myself looking to read other things despite overall thinking the book was decent. I read the ebook. 3/5

Falling Hard by Kaylea Cross is the first book in her romantic suspense series, Crimson Point Protectors. In this installment Cross took plunged her readers in a  world of vengeance, corruption and betrayal.

In this the first book of the Crimson Point Protectors readers are introduced to Kerrigan Whittaker and Travis Masterson. Travis works a physician's assistant and also serves as a Air National Guard Pararescue officer.

The story hidden between the pages takes the reader on several paths. Paths which covered search and rescue, romance between Kerrigan and Travis and a workplace controversy resulting in the murder of two employees and an attempt made on Kerrigan's life.

The story featured  a slow burn romance. Travis is in love with Kerrigan. However, he doesn't pursue her for two reasons. She is his best friend's sister and she's yet to overcome the issues of emotional abuse from her previous marriage. He, however is unaware that she feels the same way. Although she reciprocates Travis's feelings, fear held her back from declaring same. I loved seeing these two coming together. I especially loved when Kerrigan finally refused to let her fears get in the way of her having a relationship with Travis.

The suspense which took sometime to build up add intensity to the last quarter of the story. Figuring out the source of danger dogging Kerrigan's doorsteps and their plan of attack didn't require an extensive use of brain power.  Cross neatly laid out the clues from start to finish. Despite the predictability of the situation one will find themselves turning the pages to see the culmination of the events and learning the outcome for all parties involved.

Although not as suspenseful as other books I've read for the author, I enjoyed my journey with Kerrigan and Travis. One can easily guess which character the second book relates to and I am looking forward to picking it up next. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

A new series that has a lot of characters from the original Crimson Point Crew in attendance. Travis and Kerrigan know each other for three years and but neither of them ever took a chance. It takes her brother being MIA for the two of them to come closer. But life's still getting in the way and with a maniac in the lose... All bets are off. Great story that is very promising about this series.

Tracks and Kerrigan in Terrific Romance

Kaylea Cross gives us another great romance, this the start of a new Crimson Point series, this one featuring Air Force pararescuers. First up is Boyd Masterson's (Dangerous Survivor) sexy look-alike son, Travis.

Travis Masterson has been in love with his best friend's sister, Kerrigan Whitfield for a long time. She's divorced from her controlling ex and learning how to assert herself so she won't be controlled by another man. Well, turns out she thinks sexy good guy Travis is a real honey. He's a physician's assistant and reservist in the Air Force, like her brother. (Remember how Travis saved his a Dad's life in Dangerous Survivor?) But Kerrigan doesn't know if she wants to start another relationship, even with a goid man like Travis. Her ex did a real number on her self confidence.

This is a best friend's sister romance and thankfully Ms. Cross elects not to make the brother's disapproval part of the conflict. The bulk of the action takes place over 2-3 weeks, so things move quickly but that's ok. We know these two are far from strangers.

Tons of action & a great romance make this a great read. Besides, its about pararescuers, PJs. These are the badasses who rescue other special forces! Enjoy.

I enjoyed this book, it wasn't bad but it didn't quite check every box I had. It had the suspense, the forbidden romance, and the chemistry between the main two characters.

Kerrigan got divorced 2 years ago, and she is trying to 'reinvent' herself to be stronger and independent. She's training for a 100 mile marathon with one of her colleagues at the law firm company she works at. She enjoys her job as head of HR at this law firm, but one of the partners at the firm is a creep who harasses women. This partner goes about getting Kerrigan's training partner fired and Kerrigan doesn't really do much about it as to looking into all the facts. In the midst of this, her brother was captured as a POW and his team, including his super attractive best friend, Travis, have rescued him, so now she's trying to navigate life with a POW vet who suffers from PTSD the best she can.

As the book continues on, strange things are happening at the law firm with sensitive files, one of the firm's partners is murdered and Kerrigan is followed home from work one evening. She tells her Travis her concerns he tells her he'd like her to stay with him and her brother in Crimson Point so he can keep her safe. Even though she doesn't want to be sheltered, there's something about Travis that makes her feel safe, so she agrees.

As things get more crazy, will they figure out who the killer is before it's too late once the killer sets their sights on Kerrigan? I feel like overall Kerrigan just didn't do it for me, I don't know if it was because she was kind of 'woe is me' throughout the whole book or she was so head strong in trying to prove to everyone around her that she was 'reinventing herself' and that she wasn't the delicate flower that her family and friends thought she was (when honestly I think she just needed to prove it to herself and her hurt self esteem from her ex). I think if she would have been honest with herself about her feelings for Travis way earlier in the book, it would have added to the book.

After a failed marriage, Kerrigan has worked hard to become strong and independent. She doesn’t want to be shielded from anything, as her family has done in order to protect her for her entire life. But, when danger at work becomes life threatening, she turns to the man she’s been secretly crushing on for years . . .who also happens to be her brother's best friend.

Travis has wanted Kerrigan for years, but has never made a move since he is best friends with her brother. But, it’s getting harder and harder to not declare his feelings, especially when she is facing an unknown danger that seems to be stalking her every move. Even though Travis understands why Kerrigan isn’t ready for a relationship or the repercussions of a relationship with him not working out, he’s determined to break down all of her walls , . . and face the threat coming for her against all odds.
I am so excited to be back in Crimson Point! This little town and the people who live there are such a special breed of alpha, overprotective men and independent sassy women and Travis and Kerrigan fit right in!

I loved the dynamic between Travis, Kerrigan and Brandon . . . Kerrigan’s brother and Travis’s best friend . . .and, not sure when we will see itm but Travis’ story is going to be killer!!! I adored how hard Kerrigan worked to literally reinvent herself into the person she wanted to be, not because anyone told her to, but because it was what she wanted. And, the fact that Travis gave her the time, space and support she needed was awesome!

The suspense in Falling Hard was thrilling and I loved seeing Travis and Brandon in action along with the rest of the new characters as well as some glimpses of our favorite couples from the original series. This is an extremely strong start to this spin off series and I cannot wait to read each and every book Kaylea is willing to give us! 5 stars!

Amazing

Wow!

Just wow.

This has everything for me; intrigue, mystery, strong characters with flaws and action that had me at the edge of of my seat the entire time. I couldnt put this one down and I had to gobble it up in one sitting.

Kerrigan is an HR professional preparing for her first ultra run. It’s her way of working on herself after a brutal divorce 18 months earlier. She also has a big crush on her brother Brandon’s friend Travis. The men work as PJ’s and Travis was recently involved in a rescue mission to save Brandon (Whit) from being captured in Yemen. The men have a really tight bond that Kerrigan is hesitant to mess up on top of focusing on herself.

When Kerrigans work and Brandon’s capture seem to share a common link and deadly consequences, there is no telling who is safe and who is the enemy. All three of them need to protect one another before anything bad happens.

I love, love, love Kerrigan. She has a huge heart and the absolute love she has for her brother is everything. Brandon is dealing with a lot after his capture and seeing him hurt and how it affects Kerrigan also is so well done. The struggles they both face while navigating life made me want to know more.

Travis is tough alpha male, but he’s not afraid of showing his tender side. He knows what he wants is Kerrigan and isn’t afraid to say and show it, but he’s also very willing to go at whatever pace Kerrigan wants. Love that.

The story ends in HEA for Travis and Kerrigan, but it sets up Brandon’s story and leaves that in a cliffhanger which I need to know more about.

Kerrigan Whitaker is working on herself. She has been through a divorce and is trying to work on herself worth. Travis Masterson is a man who is sure of where he is going and who he wants in his life. He just doesn’t know if she feels the same way. These two have known each other for a few years because Kerrigan is the older sister of Travis’s best friend Brandon. Travis and Kerrigan have an intense connection, but fear has be holding her back. Fear that what she feels isn’t true, and that maybe he doesn’t feel the same.
Kerrigan is put into a situation at work where she starts to question the integrity of the company, she works for because of things that have been happening.
I really enjoyed the dynamic between Kerrigan and Travis as they work their way into more. Kerrigan feels as though her family has always coddled her and not in a positive way and she is working extremely hard to come out from underneath that stifling feeling. Travis truly wants Kerrigan for who she is and sees her as a strong and independent woman who can handle everything.
This wouldn’t be a Kaylea Cross book without the typical suspense element worked in, and while I did see know who the villain in the story was, the way in which in played out made sense and was intriguing. We are introduced to this new group, so there was some world building in this book because it is the starter for a new series. As usual Cross gives me a story that I enjoyed and wanted more.

An action packed and intense start to the newest series from Kaylea Cross! Readers get ready for some smart and sexy alpha PJs as they begin to find their way in civilian life while also being in their local Guard. Oh, and best of all, it brings readers back to Crimson Point with glimpses of some old friends!

This series starts off with some extremely dire circumstances which brings our first couple into one another’s orbit more than they ever have been previously. Travis and Kerrigan have known one another for years. She is the sister of Travis’s best friend and fellow PJ, Whit (Brandon). Though they have both been aware of one another before, there is a definite heightened awareness between them while they spend more time together. As difficult, and possibly dangerous, situations arise for Kerrigan, Travis is there to help in whatever capacity she will allow. As this story unfolds, readers will fall head over heels for Travis and his tender but take charge ways. Kerrigan will have readers discovering a new BFF in their book life with her kick butt attitude and refusal to ever give up on what she wants. When all is said and done this couple will capture your heart and you will be counting down the days until the next book in this series arrives on your device!

I’m a long-time fan of romantic suspense books and Kaylea Cross. She writes edge-of-your-seat romantic thrillers I just can’t get enough of. She’s on my short list of authors I 1-click without reading a blurb. With Falling Hard, she jump-starts an all-new series, the Crimson Point Protectors, taking us back to Crimson Point and giving us glimpses at beloved characters from previous books. However, it’s a complete standalone title, so you don’t have to read any Crimson Point series books to enjoy this story.

Crimson Point is the perfect place to come to heal, and for Kerrigan and her brother, Brandon, it’s quickly become a safe haven. But with her brother’s best friend tempting her daily, she’s having a hard time trying not to cross that line. Travis could care less. He’s loved Kerrigan for years. When danger closes in, he’s willing to sacrifice everything.

Plenty of action, suspense, and steamy romance is packed into the pages of this book. Per her usual, Kaylea Cross had me up long past my bedtime because I couldn’t put my iPad down even to sleep. She’s a favorite for a reason, and this is just one more reason why. Is it time for the next book in the series yet?!

Here we go with an awesome new series from Kaylea Cross! The Crimson Point Protectors series starts off with Travis and Kerrigan's story, Falling Hard. Travis's best friend is Brandon Whitman who has a sister, Kerrigan. He has always loved her yet didn't feel free to make his feelings known until Brandon aka Whit goes missing in Yemen and Travis is involved in his rescue. Kerrigan comes to Travis for help and after Whit is rescued, their journey begins. I already really liked Travis from his dad's book, Dangerous Survivor, in the Crimson Point series. And the forbidden brother's best friend/little sister trope is one of my favorites.

Ms. Cross did a wonderful job with this story. It was jam-packed with suspense and I loved the passion between Travis and Kerrigan. I fell in love with Travis as he gave Kerrigan space on her quest to reinvent herself after her divorce yet proved he loved all the facets of her, old and new. That is a man worth holding onto forever.

One more thing about the suspense factor. Usually, I think I know where something is going, but I was a bit surprised in the best way when the baddie revealed themselves and made their move. Falling Hard is a 5+ star story. It is a definite reread for me. I can't wait for the next story and I'm holding my breath for Whit's story. Highly recommend!

Only thing better than a Kaylea Cross series…is a new Kaylea Cross series! This one definitely started off with a bang! Kerrigan has a lot going on…her personal life is a mess, there is drama at work and she has challenged herself to a 100 mile race. She is grateful her brother is home safely and wants to help him anyway way she can. Of course she’s even more grateful to his best friend for saving him. Travis is starting a new job in a new town and is happy his best friend is safe. He offers him a fresh start with him in his new place. Travis has a thing for his best friends sister Kerrigan. When she gets herself in trouble he is more than happy to help protect her. These two have a great connection and amazing chemistry. I love The banter between the characters and support they give each other. This was a well layered fast paced story with great characters. I loved Seeing already established characters and meeting new ones. I’m really excited about this new series and am already looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Hmmmm….. Kaylea Cross is most definitely one of my favorite authors and all her books an absolute must-read. Having said this, it seems as if this book is the exception to the rule: I’m not so sure about this one… Somehow the mix between romance and suspense part wasn’t that balanced and the plot focused heavier on Kerrigan, who tried to “re-invent” herself after a difficult divorce that left her self-esteem and self confidence shattered. Travis was a great main character who really tried to support her in all her new goals. Generally speaking, Kerrigan and Travis were great together and I enjoyed meeting them.

The story line was straight forward. The author tried to creat depth by inserting various possible villains but somehow this didn’t sit well with me. Maybe because these “diversions” weren’t supported by the plot? Or maybe because it was obvious (because the plot didn’t support them) that these couldn’t be the villains? In any case, nice spin-off to a new series but not one of my favorite reads.

Falling Hard is book 1 of the Crimson Point Protector series and is the story of Travis Masterson and Kerrigan Whitaker. We learn a bit about these two in Dangerous Survivor from the Crimson Point series. When I read the little snippet about these two at the end of Dangerous Survivor, I was definitely intrigued and looking forward to reading their story. I was not disappointed. Travis has had feelings for Kerrigan for years but because she was his best friend Brandon’s sister he did not act on his feelings. Cracks to his resolve to stay away started when Travis got the call that Brandon was taken hostage on a mission in Yemen (we learn this in Dangerous Survivor). He was the first to volunteer on the rescue mission. Once Brandon was safe, he wanted to continue to be supportive of the Whitaker siblings, but the constant interaction with Kerrigan was making it harder and harder to remain just friends. But when Kerrigan came to him for help for herself, he was all in.

For years Kerrigan has been feeling like she has been coddled and seen as the weak link in the family. Feelings of her self-worth got even lower after her disastrous marriage. But for the past two years, she has been working on her self-esteem, going as far as signing up for a 100-mile marathon. And still being a work in progress, she is still leery of relationships. So the reappearance of Travis and her feelings for him, which she had kept down resurfaces, it was causing havoc to her system and she tried to shut it down. But when something hinky was going on at her work, Travis was the first person she knew to go to for help and to keep her safe.

Travis and Kerrigan’s journey was a wonderful friends-to-lovers story, full of fast-paced drama with interconnecting events that keep you guessing. This is looking to be another great series and I can not wait for the next in the series.

Lordy, Lordy I don’t know what to say. Be prepared though. Edge of your seat suspense and action. Surprises and friends to lovers. Loved it and just a little bit of a cliffhanger.
Kerrigan is divorced and has been working on herself for a couple of years. She has signed up for an ultra marathon. She is the human resource person in a law firm. A friend accuses one of the bosses of sexual harassment and Kerrigan ends up having to fire her. When co workers start dying and Kerrigan is followed, she goes to her brother and his best friend for help. Travis is a PJ and best friends with Kerrigan’s brother Brandon. Brandon was MIA in Yemen and Travis and some of their team looks for him. Travis has been attracted to Kerrigan and her to him but Kerrigan didn’t want to mess up their friendship. Can Travis keep her safe and convince her to give them a chance?

New Series! Action Filled! The hero is Travis Masterson, a Physician
Assistant and National Guard Pararescueman. The Heroine is Kerrigan Whitaker a Human Resources Manage at an attorney firm. The story starts off with an action-packed and realistic reading rescue of Travis' best friend, Brandon, by Travis' National Guard unit. Brandon had been captured and tortured. Brandon is Kerrigans' younger brother and also a pararesueman. The emotional and physical dance between Travis and Kerrigan is a delight to read. Kerrigans' training for an “ulta” marathon is inspiring. Brandon's' recovery from his capture and torture is heart- breaking. Being medically trained, I enjoyed the accurate description of Kerrigans' rescue in the climax of the story. The Crimson Point Protectors has started with a bang and is filled Kaylea Cross' inimitable style of romance and adventure! I can hardly wait for the rest of the series!

Falling Hard is the debit novel in Kaylea Cross' new Crimson Point Protectors series, giving us Travis and Kerrigan's story.

Having met both characters previously, Falling Hard was like meeting up with old friends. Considering that the main setting is Crimson Point, an area well known to Kaylea Cross fans, we meet other well-loved characters too.

This is more than just the story of how Kerrigan and Travis get together. It's also the beginning of what looks like a long-running mystery that will potentially permeate the whole series.

There are a few 'gasp out loud' moments and a few surprises weaved into this story, so anyone who enjoys romantic suspense, are certainly in for a treat.

I'm so looking forward to the continuation of this new series and meeting the people who steal the hearts of the other Crimson Point Protectors.

Travis has always had feelings 4 his best friends sister but she didn't want 2 deal with her conflicting feelings 4 him and because of her bad past. When she's at work things go a little messed up 4 a while cause of 1 asshole that refused 2 understand what NO meant. But after things go wrong with a IT person and she's let go for things. You have 2 wonder is she telling the truth about her side of the story even with proof that shows things or is it some kind of set up? After her brother came back from being MIA 4 a short x there r things that is unsettled between her bro, what she seen on her bosses desk, and how people r acting. Whay happens next is very crazy!! But can things b changed or saved in x? Read and find out!! I loved it. It made me ask questions just 2 c if I was at or wrong guessing about what happens along the way.

A good start to a series

Travis and Kerrigan. Brother’s best friend with a military angle. Their friendship was strong from years of family friendship, but with some big experiences that put them together more their chemistry was undeniable. Travis had to combat Kerrigans baggage of an ex husband while they both were helping her brother recover from being captured and tortured overseas. The danger picks up at work for Kerrigan and the story stays fast paced until the end. The killer was sort of obvious, but still entertaining to see how it played out. The rescue scene was vivid and covered a lot of physical and emotional elements. The ending was great at creating the opening for the next book(s) where hopefully we learn more of the security group and we see the brother get a HEA.

This extremely talented author sure knows how to start a series!!!
Once I started I couldn't put it down, and already eagerly awaiting the next book to see how the series plot thread is contained as my spidey senses are definitely tingling, hence I couldn't not add it to my top reads list.
I absolutely adore how once a series ends you're not saying goodbye to the characters you've fallen in love with, while meeting some new lovable ones at the same time.
This book ties on from the last book from the first Crimson Point series, but even if you're just starting the journey, you'll be just as transfixed.
Will this lovable couple be able to face their insecurities before it's too late?
One hundred percent recommend that you one click to find out.
