Pictures of 30 girls caught on hidden camera in school locker room

New charge and details in the Cleveland Middle School case

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Cleveland Police have filed a new charge against the Cleveland Middle School teacher charged over a hidden camera in a locker room.

It is a second count of Attempted Aggravated Unlawful Photography of a minor.

Investigators say they have learned the video recording happened over a two day period, which explains the second charge.

On Thursday, a female school employee met with police to review the still photos of 30 girls captured on the camera.

All 30 have been identified as a result.

The school will be informing the parents of each of them.

They recorded this message for the community.

“We understand that you are upset. We are also upset.”

Investigators have searched the home of Christopher Schroll and checking his electronic devices.

If you have any more information on the case, please contact Cleveland Police Department Detective Bobby Ruth at 423-476-1121.
