Greatest of All Time: Prabhu Deva, Thalapathy Vijay make everyone groove to ‘Whistle Podu’ on Tamil New Year : Bollywood News

As fans of Thalapathy Vijay are excited to see the superstar on screen after the grand success of Lokesh Kangaraj’s Leo, which released last year, the actor is now gearing up for his next titled GOAT – Greatest of All Time. The film, which is directed by Venkat Prabhu, is being highly anticipated and now to add to the buzz, the makers have decided to treat the audiences with a special song on Tamil New Year.

The makers of GOAT unveiled the song ‘Whistle Podu’ which is picturized on Thalapathy Vijay, who will be seen as the leading man along with Prabhudeva, Prashanth and Ajmal Ameer. The 4-minute 47 seconds video is a lyrical video with only glimpses from the song. As for the song, itself, the music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with vocals by Vijay, Venkat Prabhu, Yuvan himself along with Premgi Amaren, whereas the lyrics are penned by Madhan Karky. The peppy number has been choreographer by Raju Sundaram, Prabhudeva’s brother.

Meanwhile, speaking of Greatest of All Time, the film will also star Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren and Yugendran Vasudevan in key roles. While most of the details about the film are kept under wraps, we hear that the film will feature yet another intriguing avatar of Vijay, whereas the makers have also promised that this will be a massy entertainer. Considering that a lot of expectations are riding high on the movie since it is the second last movie of the actor before he enters politics, the makers are also planning to release it in multiple languages.

GOAT will release on September 5 in Tamil but also Telugu and Hindi.
