Golf Classic 2022

Dear Members & Friends, 

We are delighted that St. Mary’s College R.F.C. can confirm we are again able to proceed with our Annual Golf Classic in the Castle Golf Club on  Friday 26th August 2022.

We are very grateful for the support you have provided in the past and would really appreciate if you are in a position to consider putting in a team again this year .

Outline details of the event are provided below . Having absorbed increases in green fees / meals and other costs over the last number of years we have made some adjustments to our team costs this year to allow us to maintain the high quality of the event and to provide additional evening entertainment in the SMCRFC Clubhouse .
 

• Morning tee times 10.30 to 12.30 - €450 per 3-man team ( €150 per individual )
• Afternoon tee times   14.00 to 16.00 - €550 per 3-man team ( €185 per individual )

( Tee times are at 8-minute slots. ) 

• Tea / coffee & sandwiches on arrival
• Three ball stableford team event with Prizes - 1st to 5th Places / Best Front nine /          Best Second nine / nearest pin / longest drive / team needing most improvement 

We have made arrangements with Castle GC to provide the Post Golf meal immediately on completion of your round in Castle GC restaurant/bar . Prize giving will take place in the SMCRFC Clubhouse, Templeville Road starting at 9pm with a welcome / thankyou drinks reception, finger food, an informal music session and a good old fashioned get together  finishing off the day .

If you wish to put a team could in you, please provide the following information ?:

• Preferred tee times – morning ( 10.30 to 12.30 )  or afternoon ( 14.00 to 16.00 ).
• Name of Team ( in your own name or by individual playing ).
• Names of other team members if you have them now - Don’t worry if you don’t , it is just to avoid duplicate bookings.

P.S.  Should you be unable to take a team for some reason we would be very grateful if you could consider kindly sponsoring a tee or green at €100 each .

General notes:

1) We are delighted to confirm all facilities are now available in Castle GC   and there are no Covid restrictions.
