Project Showcase – App Edition led by University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS FT & Wigan Council
Join digital transformation leaders from University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS FT and Wigan Council for this unmissable, community-hosted Project Showcase. From digitalising electronic patient meal requests to revolutionary COVID-19 testing processes, Marc and Sam will discuss the role of mobile working at their respective organisations.
To close the Project Showcase, Seb Clancy (NDL Business Manager) will lead an open Q&A – an opportunity to engage with our hosts, the NDL team or peers.

- Innovative links between new pre-operative assessment eForms, existing mobile app solutions and EPR systems – and its assistance throughout COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Taking a digital-first response to vaccine administration, lateral flow reports and antibody and swap testing by utilising its MX product.
- Placing care at the forefront of daily data collection by going paperless with a mobile app (MX) to electronically capture patient meal requests.

- The utilisation of eForms throughout the COVID-19 test booking service – from public submissions to the populating of results.
- Using FX in maintaining social distance practices in healthcare, while simultaneously closing the gap for human error.
