She either nails it or it's one like this...all the interesting things were written in another book. This was confusing and boring. New things tried to happen but instead of being explored, they are just used as a device. It's really short, too. I don't like paying this much for what feels like a disrespect to the readers and fans. 'Had to put a book out and these people will buy anything.' Sadly I had to pay for it to find out that was the case.

THE VIPER is the third instalment in JR Ward’s contemporary adult BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD: PRISON CAMP paranormal romance series-a spin off/interconnected series from the author’s Black Dagger Brotherhood. This is vampires Kanemille aka Kane, and Nadya’s story line. The premise is heart breaking yet engaging-both Nadya and Kane’s back stories are dark and raw; the romance is emotional but struggles in the face of past betrayals: the characters are broken but battling to move forward.

This is a good book to read about Kane and Nadya. It had action and romance. I wonder if the next book "Forever" will mention Apex and Collum in it. I want to know what happened to them.
