Become a Satellite Beach VIP!!!
The City of Satellite Beach Recreation Department's Volunteer Involvement Program connects citizens to the city through community engagement.
We coordinate efforts with local public and private schools, civic organizations and the community to allow volunteer participation in a variety of city sponsored events, camps, and programs.
The City of Satellite Beach prides itself on our long history of citizen volunteers.
Our founder Percy Hedgecock stated that, “this community was built on the backs of citizen volunteers”.
Satellite Beach students and adults are encouraged to invest time in their community.

In 2023 we had over 250 volunteers completing 3,000 volunteer hours!!
