Brittany Aldean, the wife of country music star Jason Aldean, is fighting back after receiving attacks from liberal country singers over an Instagram post criticizing the transgender movement’s focus on children.
Though most celebrities are reluctant to express any sort of right-wing views, Brittany, 34, and her husband have become increasingly vocal about being conservative and supporters of former President Donald Trump.
“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Brittany captioned a video post last week. “I love this girly life.”
The post, criticizing the transgender movement’s seeming insistence that children should be transitioned if they buck gender stereotypes, has racked up over 160,000 likes. Brittany has “limited” comments on the video.

Some in country music attacked Brittany for the comments and called her names.

Piling on, singer Maren Morris replied to Pope, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Brittany refused to back down, posting a lengthy response of her own online.
“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” the makeup guru blasted.
“I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence,” she asserted.
“Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly, that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions,” Brittany continued. “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.”
“Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tomboy phase without changing my gender,” she closed the post. “Until then, leave children alone!”

Daily Wire host Candace Owens, who is close to Brittany and her husband, publicly defended her friend from the attacks.
Owens mocked Morris as “Karen Morris” via Instagram and sarcastically replied to her Twitter, “It’s easier to not castrate your children. But I guess whatever helps sell bad records.”

Brittany’s husband, country singer RaeLynn, and the wives of Jon Pardi and Shay Mooney were some of the others to publicly defend Brittany, according to People magazine.
