Brabus has taken on the Rolls-Royce for the first time. The «junior» Ghost sedan was subjected to German tuning.

The Rolls-Royce cars usually do not need third-party tuning, because factory experts are able to offer their clients boundless scope for imagination — you can make an individual car by design directly at the factory in the departments of personalization.

But if that’s not enough, the atelier is ready to refine any car, including the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

The luxury sedan from the Brits is far from the first candidate for renovation and power increase, if we take into account its history.

But German tuners created a special package of lightweight materials.

It includes a front spoiler, new air intakes on the front bumper, a carbon diffuser behind, and exhaust system pads.

These upgrades not only add more sportiness, but also improve the sedan’s aerodynamic capabilities.

Thanks to the upgraded engine, namely the control unit was redesigned and a new exhaust system was created, the luxury sedan received a power gain of 129 horsepower.

As a result, the car can now develop 700 horsepower. Top speed is limited at 250 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 4.6 seconds.

The model has received new rims, which can be ordered in four different designs. Their diameter varies from 21 to 22 inches.

Brabus also improved the handling and braking, which are key factors in such a powerful sedan.

There is an updated air suspension, and the height to the ground was reduced by 3 centimeters. We can also note that the German tuning agency wasn’t the first company to take on the Ghost.

Last year we saw two more projects from other specialists, but the sedan from Germans looks the most ready and finished.

This model is the first Rolls-Royce in the history of the atelier Brabus, which had not previously dealt with the creations of the legendary brand.

However, the status of the initial model did not affect the tuning program.

Specialists of German company developed for Ghost branded aerodynamic bodykit made of carbon fiber, which can be designed not only in matte or glossy variant, but also painted either in body color or contrasting shade.

Increased downforce is claimed with the new details. The sedan receives 22-inch Brabus Monoblock M Platinum Edition wheels, the design of which optimizes ventilation and brake cooling.

For the 6.75-liter V12 turbo Brabus prepared a new control unit Brabus PowerXtra RR68-700, which allowed to get a boost of 127 horsepower — the power increased from 571 to 700.

If any Rolls-Royce owner is interested, acceleration from a place to «hundred» has decreased by 0,2 seconds — to 4,6 seconds.

But the maximum speed limiter remained at the mark of 250 kilometers per hour.

In addition to the new program for the engine atelier offer a sports exhaust system made of stainless steel with carbon-titanium nozzles.

The exhaust has two programs — Coming Home and Sport — which differ in sound volume of the engine.

Other technical refinements include reprogrammed air suspension with reduced ground clearance by 30 millimeters, and Brabus promises that it did not worsen the smoothness of ride in any way.

The interior of the Rolls-Royce show car is completely re-stitched in white leather, complemented by carbon fiber decorative inserts and illuminated carbon fiber sill plates.

There are also stainless steel pedal pads, alcantara headliner and the option to decorate the interior with any combination of materials in any color to the customer’s liking.
