Under direct supervision, Utility employees assist in maintaining all ware-washing and food service areas in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. Operates the dish machine in a safe manner, wash pots, mop floors, trash removal, and assists in receiving/storing goods when needed. Deliver trays to residential apartments and transports meal carts to health care areas in a safe and timely manner. Able to work in a team environment and is sensitive to the needs of an aging population. Maintain appropriate professional appearance at all times.       Position Requirements EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent, or in process. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Able to communicate effectively with residents, staff and visitors. Able to follow instructions and work well with others. Ability to follow routine assignments; seeking supervisory help if problem arises. Able to work in a team environment and is sensitive to the needs of an aging population. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
