May is Asian Heritage Month and there is no better time to celebrate and learn about the diverse cultures and traditions of the Asian community. CPCO is proud to offer a collection of resources that have been carefully curated to showcase the excellence and achievements of Asian heritage. These resources include inspiring stories, engaging events, and valuable learning opportunities that we believe will be both informative and enlightening.

Saint Andrew Kim Taegon, the first Korean-born Catholic priest and patron saint of Korea, defied persecution in 19th-century Confucian Korea to spread Christianity. Born into a Catholic family, he studied in Macau before returning to Korea as a priest. Despite relentless suppression, he fearlessly evangelized until his execution at 25. Canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1984, his martyrdom exemplifies unwavering faith.
