Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera became one and a half times cheaper in ten years.

The other day the online auction for 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera has started on the portal «Bring a Trailer».

It is known that this supercar was originally registered in California (USA), and some time later ended up in Maryland.

Recently the car was purchased by one of the dealerships, which put it up for auction.

The main feature of the two-door is a bright blue body paint «Blu Caelum», against which contrasts effectively carbon fiber components, namely the front bumper, mirror housings, side «skirts», rear wing and diffuser.

The interior of this Lamborghini features carbon fiber bucket seats upholstered in black alcantara with silver stitching.

Their sides also feature «Superleggera» embroidery.

The front panel and the center console are also trimmed in black alcantara. The equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a multimedia system with navigation, a rearview camera and a fire extinguisher.

In motion the supercar is driven by a 5.2-liter atmospheric V10 engine rated at 562 hp. (540 Nm), which works in tandem with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

Interestingly, the 10-year-old two-door has only 2,000 miles (3,218 km). At the moment the bidding for the car is already completed: it was sold for $186,000 (13.3 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

By the way, when it was new the price of this car was noticeably higher — $291,490 (20.9 million rubles), of which $7,260 (520,000 rubles) accounted for the aforementioned optional body painting.

Lamborghini is the most powerful Gallardo, which has lower curb weight, unlike the classic model.

Visually the model can be distinguished by the presence of a spoiler, mirrors and air intakes made of carbon.

Thanks to the application of carbon parts, the engineers managed to reduce the weight of the car.

It should be noted that the windshield and the side windows of the Superleggera are made of lightweight material, polycarbonate.

The interior of the Gallardo Superleggera also uses carbon fiber.

In Superleggera the leather used for the seats in the original Gallardo is replaced with light alcantara.

Thus the engineers managed to reduce the car weight by 160 kg and thus improve the dynamic characteristics of the model.

The Gallardo Superleggera is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 570 hp, which is 10 hp more than the power of the original model.

The Superleggera power gain has been achieved by engineers due to revision of the ECU. The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is equipped both with a manual transmission and a robotized E-Gear transmission.
