www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball was picked to finish sixth according to the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Preseason Poll, which is voted on by the CUNYAC coaches as announced Wednesday by the league office.
The Cardinals received 24 total points in the poll, while Baruch College tops the list with 58 points, along with five first-place votes. Adnan Bajrami of Baruch was tabbed the Preseason Player of the Year. York's 14-game CUNYAC slate tips off December 3 at home against Medgar Evers College.

The 2022 CUNYAC Championship will take place February 19 (first-round), February 23 (semifinals) and February 25 (finals) with the league champion receiving an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
In 2019-20, York concluded the season with an 8-17 record and 4-10 in conference play. The Cardinals also produced a CUNYAC second-team All-Star in
Devine Chisholm, who returns for his junior season in 2021-22. York will look to return to postseason play for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
