We continue our close collaboration with Vodafone on Open RAN. Together, we completed an end-to-end Open RAN trial in Vodafone Italy's commercial 5G Standalone network. Vodafone is pioneering the wider adoption of open, disaggregated, and automated networks, expecting greater agility to quickly adopt and launch innovative new customer-focused services. This trial highlights the maturity of the Nokia #anyRAN approach, which gives our customers the flexibility of choice in selecting their preferred COTS hardware, CaaS platform and radio unit suppliers. This month we partnered with WithSecure to organize the “LGBT… Who? Being your authentic self at work” panel and networking event at Nokia HQ. Inviting participants from various companies, including the cohort from #NokiaOUTstandingLeaders 2024 program. 🌈 Hosted by Mikko Ylä-Kauttu (Nokia) and Jaakko Kotila (WithSecure), the event was kicked off with a powerful opening by Emma Cashmore, Head of DEI in Nokia. Followed by Carolina Mejía López (Nokia) and Suresh Gupta (WithSecure) sharing their personal stories.
