Access to Work, a collaborative initiative by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department for Work and Pensions, is designed to assist people with disabilities in overcoming work-related barriers. Access To Work is a partner-based scheme that provides practical support, information and advice at every stage of employment, from pre-employment planning through to in-work support. They also provide funding towards specific adjustments or equipment needed at work or in training so that no disabled person faces discrimination when looking for work or while they are working.
